Charity sighs as she cleans the load of laundry. Mistress of linens she is, but body paints ? Ack.

Still, work is needful, and no boggan is afraid of it.

While she might gossip with the best of them, she has her own restrictions. In a Fiona hold it's far too easy to judge or slander with just talk of who needs what sheets cleaned how often. Thus, her gossip is often ..vague, when it comes to bedroom fall out.

Besides, not only does Charity have a kind heart? But who talks about a witch's sheet stains? Frogs! that's who.

She does hope a certain pooka returns soon though. Of all the folk sshe's known, Vince is the one who makes her feel the most like a princess, and without irony. Oh sure, he lies with words, but his kindness and admiration for even a girl like her? that's real

Humming softly the tune 'some day my prince' will come, she twirls a bit while she works.

And off she goes to other chores... but she does leave a treat for Curiosity.

Curiosity is currently batting around a clothespin. Great fun!

A sigh , but an indulgent one. She does leave the treat to see if the cat finds it...perhaps when the pin ends up near it as it might

Curiosity bats the pin in the air, and then hightails after it!

She pounces on the food instead, and sniffs it. Yup. Food!

Charity smiles, and goes onto her work.

Only to stumble into an upset Pooka childling, "You would betray your queen?" Isis says with a huff, tail swishing

Charity says "No, Isis. Never, but kinndess should be granted to the lowliest yes?"

Flat ears, "She's plotting against my reign"

Curiosity pads out into the hallway.

"Off with your head," Isis declares at the kitten

"Isis" Charity says. Wondering where the warders are.

"Mrewh?" She flumps over on her side, showing a white belly.

Isis hurumphs, then bends down, "It's a trap" Mimicing Admiral Ackbar, and pets the kitten.

Careful for claws if her hand touches belly

She rolls over to her feet and rubs against the hand.

"I am the She Simba," Isis explains, "I get the biggest treats, and the highest spots. Kay?" Stroking

Curiosity arcs her back so Isis can get the itchiest spots, pacing back and forth for pettin's.

"Yeah, I know... that spot behind the head but before the back is impossible to get, and no one understands" Isis sighs and scritches

Charity smiles, and witthdraws to do her chores. It looks like Isis , having establithed 'dominance' may yet grow to love the kitten

Purrrr. Isis DOES know the spot!

Why there might even be a chin scritch

PURR.

And, perhaps, later... another kitten, white and fluffy and with a bow, will challenge Curiousity to a chase!

Chase is fun! So is pounce!

Isis will win..cuz she's the princess!

Siv returns looking pleased. She also carries a new book.

And into the library she goes.

She lays down a book Coven of Thorns reads the title.

It is new, recently published. Thus, perhaps of less interest to a sluagh.

"I know not that book."

"Oh geez, give me a heart attack" Siv laughs "Well, you shouldn't. It goes on the shelves next week. I have a contact is all, but seems your sort of thing"

"Oh? A contact?" She emerges, swooping over to pick up the new shiny.

"Oh yes. One of the folks at the lodge writes fantasy books." A grin.

"Ah. The Beaumayn."
