Emma snarls as she shakes the blood off her battle axe, and eyes the next goblin with a lust for war in her eyes. Her long glorious hair flashes in the wind echoing through the dungeon tunnel. When her next kill is stopped, but a voice.

"Sorry, Emma, you can't go again this round," Oswald says from the DM screen. "Earl, you're up."

Earl looks over the sheet, "Well, It feels redundant now, but I guess I cast bless to give everyone a plus one bonus to hit" ahem , he clears his voice "May the goddess of moon and startlight bless us in this dire battle"

Oswald nods "Still useful, lots of foes left."

Then Oswald looks over "Does the rogue want to do anything in the fight or keep fiddling with the lock?"

"I shall open this, aye. Cursed dice..."

"Okay, concentrating on the mission at hand your rogue keeps working the locks... roll again, Zara."

"Ha! I strike down my foe!"

"I think she means she got the lock..or was that an attack?" Earl says. It's been years since he's done this.

"The lock, aye. Tis mine to subdue."

Oswald chuckles "I wouldn't waste that roll, 20 no less... yeah, the lock unlocked, she swings the grate wide open, and yes, the rogue even uses it to bash the goblin that was going to charge her. Not much damage but means he can't reach you this round, oh cunning rogue."

Oswald says "You guys now have access to the tunnel on the map that leads a straight line to the egress, not that means they won't be foes chasing perhaps. Before you cast, wizard, do you want to change your actions?"

Bachdion fusses, "I didn't play wizard just to hike up my robes and run. I cast the sleep spell on the archers in the back."

The only grump in the room, Bachdion has rumbled something bout 'red box' days whatever that means when folsk were worried he'd have trouble with the game

"Nice," Oswald says after dice rattle, "Three out of four archers down, and you got a warrior as well. The goblins are looking greatly reduced. Fight or flight?"

"Oh wait," He makes some rolls.. turns out the wizard does get hit by that last archer but not badly wounded. And Emma's character gets a spear to the thigh "Okay, forgot about them but that's done. Fight or flight, adventurers? "

"I wish to se what is down this new hallway..."

"BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!" Emma declares.

"It's alarming how well she's taking to the barbarian" Bachdion says but smiles

As Zara announces her rogue is wanting to slip down the new path, Emma seems to want to slaughter more up here. Oswald's eyes light up "Are you guys ..splitting the party?"

"NO!" Earl and Bachdion say at the same time. //"I mean.. the barbarian will cover our retreat, the rogue will lead into the new tunnel" Bachdion says.

"Aye, so. Art there traps? Hidden doors? Odd treasures?"

"Roll Search skill and find out..maybe" Their ref smiles, "Don't forget class bonuses for traps"

Zara rolls, and while not as good as her last, it's adequete "No traps ... but there is a discoloration down about 15 feet you think...the mold is different there"

"Ooo..."

Emma, meanwhile, is having a good rage!

"Emma roll.. oh geez" Oswald blinks "She just critted again." He eyes the dice, not as if they are cheating, but more a betrayal. He had loaned them out to her and they're doing better for her than him. "Roll damage, double it"

"SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE!"

"Okay, well, that saying fits as a head rolls about six feet that way separated from the goblin that had a spear"

Earl's cleric heals the barbarian "OK... let's back up now, uhm..." A pause "Sorry, forgot your character's name"

"Oggette!"

"Time to withdraw, Oggette"

"Oggette leaves... for NOW."

Meanwhile, Zara's rogue (What race did she pick?) eases further down to that location, making her stealth roll and perception both. Oswald says "This is definitely a hidden door, or at least, hidden to most"

"Recall, my drow has nightsight... so... to open this..."

"Oh yes... forgot about that in that case you also notice the runes" Oswald says "Which say, in dwarvish, which I believe have as a language 'Here Lies the Enemy of Justice. May she rot in her finery'"

"Exciting! Do I see a release? I shall open this..."

Emma, meanwhile, is singing a barbarian Song of Triumph - which mostly consists of "Ogg-Ogg-Oggettey-Ogg"

The wizard comes up behind the rogue "I think the cleric is trying to wrangle our barbarian. The enemy of justice? Can I get a knowledge roll?"

"Yes yes.." Rolling dice and "Archimon the Sublime, you realize they speak of Mordaana... an evil priestess of a now sleeping god. " Then with Zara Oswald says "A roll for picking the lock is required here too... but having opened the last one you get a bonus this time."

"Oh, right! Knowledge rolls!"

"Oh, most excellent..." She has a ritual for rolling - for 'luck'

"As soon as it is opened, a strange wind blows through the dungeon..." Oswald says in a ominous tone, "And the goblins... turn and run, as if the barbarian dwarf did not scare them, but this? This does"

"Never a good sign" Earl mutters

Zara claps a little, with a thrill of anticipation.

Now with the battle over, Zara's drow goes into full stealth/search mode... methodical, careful.

As long as some barbarian doesn't grow impatient and charge ahead

"What is through the door?"

"A long and winding tunnel, truly more cave like than what you've been in, odd for dwarves, as if they wanted to do the job and get the tomb SEALED." Oswald says "You find no traps for the first half of it"
