"When does your semester start?"

"How's Vassar? You enjoy it?"

"The library there is excellent. And the lights in the classrooms are not too bright."

"My professors are mostly very good."

"Mostly very?"

"Well, they can't all be."

Sniff. "The boggan is also the baron's spymaster. I will not have a class with him in the spring, at least."

A pause, and he nods. "You can avoid most of the rest of those classes, I bet."

"I plan to."

"The Baron there is Eiluned. They never can mind their own business..."

Earl sighs as the cat is now climbing him, but is looking like she might want to leap over to August

August remains available.

"Professor Plum is actually rather polite that I've seen, but the Baron did step wrong"

And Curiosity leaps from the troll's shoulder down onto August's.

Earl nods at that, "It isn't. "

"Hello....." He offers his hand to the kitten.

"I think she likes you."

"I think she likes the smell of ink and paint..." Earl ponders

"Either way." August waits.

Zara drifts from the desk, expression hard to read.

Curiosity clambers along August's shoulder and welcomes scratches from his hand.

August seems.... enraptured. "Hello..."

" I think Squire Velvet has done a nice job on the library but she did seem relieved to have you back, Zara" He says "Something about the dust not falling as it should and arrangements"

"mrewp" Curiosity's nose taps August's, a tiny bip and she pulls her head away as if shocked!

"Velvet is a very good steward."

August gives the kit VERY WIDE EYES.

"Oh." And August is smitten.

Earl mutters "I think he's about to steal our cat"

"One does not own a cat, Earl."

And she lays down on his shoulder. Purrrrrrrrrrr.

"Hi......"

Curiosity rumbles in contentment.

"mmmph" Earl might be a bit contrary. He was trying to get rid of the cat, but now the cat's lack of loyalty stings just a bit

"Now, Curiosity may have claimed herself a Liam..."
