"I bet you do" Siv rolls her eyes.

Then she looks to Zara, "Thank you, Zara. you're a grand friend to be doing this."

"I have friends at Rivervale, and the Farm."

Sylvi smiles at the suggestion of the guest room. "Well, I know the hospitality here is excellent."

"Well this friend is grateful," Siv says "Because it could save either or both of those places"

"And the three."

"Yes," Siv takes a breath. Zara knows the look. A desperate need to protect family.

Colton says "Well, it is a long way back..."

"Siv...we're going to figure it out. I'm sure of it. Your mom'll be okay."

A worried look.

"Thanks, Sylvi" Siv says "And come on.. .Zara needs time to arrange things. Lodge needs patrols"

Colton looks a bit resentfully at Siv.

"But...I....thought we'd stay over....?" Hopeful look.

"I am certain a room could be arranged."

"Fine.. fine. " Siv says "Someone should be happy I suppose"

Colton smiles "I'll be happy to show them to rooms, Miss Zara"

Sylvi looks at Siv, and for a moment she looks like she's considering saying something a bit snarky...but she resists and stands close to Colton.

Siv is not a diplomat so misses this clue.

"Thank you, Colton."

Colton says "This way, Ladies of Rivervale" He'll drop Siv off FIRST... gee wonder why?

Siv waves to Zara as they head out

And soon, Zara is alone in her library again. With new notes to peruse!

And UHG, a mess to clean!

But .. it is good to be back

Earl shows up ten minutes later, "Want me to take us back in the morning?"

"We must needs go to the Dreaming. There is work to do."

"The Game's afoot?" he says

"Something like that. You know of this Skallstryke?"

"Yeah" Earl says "The draogn in the Dreaming. The Giant bane"

She nods. "And he comes now for the Lodges."

"There's another way to fight him?"

"I know not. Da'an calls on three. And Emmitt is one of them."

"Siv's mother the second."

"Mayhaps they can convince Nocturnus to aid. We must get to his lair tonight, nu?"

"Yes" He says firm "We should bring a gift. "

"Agreed. And tea."

"Of course" He nods

Fortunately, they have just the right set
