Siv explains "If we can find how to find the dragon, it might be here. The Lady Slaugh in the Firnost library said there might be notes about Nocturnus here. And the library here is amazing"

“Uh huh...” Sylvi’s looking around, not focused on the library as much as on the fact that her boyfriend is somewhere nearby. She texted when they arrived....

She hears footsteps.

Turning, hopeful.

And Colton is kissing Sylvi, as if Siv didn't exist. Maybe he didn't see her, maybe he didn't care.

Siv doesn't know this is happening as she looks over the books, "Oh my she's got so many fine books but i need the personal notes..wait, in the shadowy niche"

Sylvi absolutely couldn't care less about books at the moment. Though the shadowy niche is sounding pretty darn good.

And she is, most enthusiastically, kissing him back.

"AH ha.. lord, need night vision to find these..had to feel around... and.." Siv turns then blinks "You know, Sylvi, given all the teasing you do about my romantic encounters, you sure do give me ammo to tease back. Colton, mind if you free her lips?"

"Terribly" He says parting a bit

A sigh of annoyance at the parting. "Siv, I'm not as old and jaded as you, so let me enjoy, hm?"

"Ooo you're paying for that later" Siv says then "Squire Colton.. you know Miss Zara's system right?"

Colton snickers.

Sylvi gives Colton a sassy wink, then eases back from him a bit. They do have a duty right now, after all.

"You're kidding right?" he says

"You mean...you don't know it, or you do?"

"I mean, sure I'll help, but Miss Zara is a sluagh's sluagh... she's probably got hidden niches that evne Sir August doesn't know bout"

Sylvi's turn to giggle at that.

"Well, whisper things.. help me out," Siv says "Got to be some way to... wait.." Soft knocking here and there. Listening for hollow spots.

"She doesn't keep, like, a map of books or anything? Or one of those old card stack things?"

"Well, I've seen her pull out a chart but... I don't think she leaves one out exactly" He says

There is, indeed, an antique card catalog - walnut with brass hardware.

"Oh, there..." Sylvi goes to look at the cards, but she's never used one of these. "I guess...D for Dragon?" She begins.

"Or N for Nocturnus?" Siv says.

"I'll try that."

It... is not Dewey Decimal.

Colton says "This reads like a sphinx riddle "

"Oh...wow...this isn't even....does this make any sense? It seems kind of random...."

"It's not random, she's just got a cipher we don't know. Raven's brilliant, mark me. Smartest girl I know."

That from Siv.

"What's the point of a system that nobody can figure out?"

"You don't know much about treasures" Siv says.

"Sylvi IS a treasure" Colton says, arm about her waist

She preens happily at that and snuggles up closer, preferring to nuzzle rather than research.

"Must you speak so loudly in this place, Squire?" A cool whisper, breath on his neck.

Colton nearly jumps, and thus shakes Sylvi a bit but he also readies to defend her as he turns ,then blushes "Sorry, Miss Zara"

Siv looks up, "Zara" And grinning gives Zara a hug "Oh thank goodness. We could use your help"

Sylvi startles a bit at Colton's motion, then sees Zara and smiles. "Oh, it's just you! Hi, Zara."

1122 want me to bite someone? Two steps and they die! Well. .okay..itch

A sniff at 'just you."

"So Rivervale has decided to visit my Library."

"Yes, Zara. I'm sorry. My cellphone got ruined and needs fixing.. so texting was hard so..." Siv says

"Yes...Siv has an idea about dragons."

An elegantly arched eyebrow.

"Skallstryke has enemies... and in the past has fought Nocturnus. Madame Sinestri hinted that I might uncover something here... wouldn't believe what I paid for even that much" Siv explains

A pause "At least I think it might have been her. There was a note slide to me from the Treasure Island book"

"Ah. Nocturnus, aye. He would not care for such a mindless brute as Skallstryke."

"I hope to enlist his help. To get in contact. You know how I can contact him?" Siv asks.

"One does not simply put a Dragon at beck and call."
