"I think you're her favorite again" Earl whispers to Zara

A delicate blush. "Well. I can't say that I mind. Oh, wait until she gets to see the new library when school starts..."

"Oh my, she's going to go nuts" Earl tries to pet Bronte, and is apparently forgiven as he too can get a scritch in.

"It may not be so grand as the Great one... but it is new, and charming."

"And we'll remember it all " He grins

"Truth!"

"Oh, I must needs check in with my family... we got back late, I have orientation on Wednesday."

"I am glad we got so much of the apartment set up, at least...." Eyes widen. "We shall be living together!"

"Oh wow, yeah. They'll be worried." He kisses her cheek, "Best give them a call so they don't fret and... " A grin spreads on his face.

"Yes, together"

She shivers. "Can you imagine?"

He runs a palm over the bare part of her back "I admit to imagining a lot"

She arches her spine to meet the hand. "Aye."

"Oh, truth be known, I may be more excited about that than school..."

"Now I AM flattered" He says "But yes, but put it both together? It's an adventure"

"A great unknown one, yes!"

Bronte beams "Through the looking glass"

"Aye?"

"I wonder if she means it'll be curiousier and curiousier? " Earl says "either way, I don't think we'll be bored. Even if you may have to put up anti little brother wards on your personal room"

"Oy vey..."

"He's had time to slither around while we were gone. "Earl warns

"I know. But my most personal things are not yet there."

"Thank goodness for small blessings I.." A wince, "What. .. are the odds your uncles have..helped while we were gone? "

"I fear the Greeks, even when they come bearing gifts" Bronte says

"Maybe you should call your family for more reasons than one" Earl shakes his head and chuckles

A sigh. "We can fix it. Whatever it is, we can fix it."

He gives her a squeeze, "I'm so happy to be with you I'm not even worrying as much as I would"

"It will be fun to fill it with little things... think you Ceasar will let you paint the walls?"

"I already asked, he's very cool with it, and says he might hire me. Apparently Sparrow did an amazing job in one of the houses"

"Oh, aye - she did some things at Earth Runes. A bit too.. mm.. well, not to my taste, but skillful."

"She's...rather bright in her stylings, but it's quality and from the heart so.. respect" Earl agrees

"Well, Liam."

"Yes," A smile "Good folk mostly, frustrating but good." A thought "And August's situation...a Banner House"

"Oh, aye... " Pffts. "Sidhe politics."

"I wish, a'times, he could simply be. I fear this shall be dangerous for him."

"Da'an you know better than I, but I suspect August has never been ...allowed to be. He puts himself into the center of the storm and takes the lightning so it doesn't fall on others."

"Yeah. He's... he's a good man, sometimes he misses what I think should be obvious, but then some would say the same of me."

"High praise" He chuckles "I won't press for details beyond that lest you be forced to bluntness"

The kiss is returned, "And I find you alarming, but in the best of ways."

She gets a wicked grin.
