Zara finds the library at Earth Runes has kept in the fashion she is accustomed to.

It is but an echo of her memories of the Great Grand library, but she feels a rush of pride at her design for it intact and thriving.

She floats through the aisles, touching the spines of her old friends.

"They have missed you, I dare say" Velvet whispers, trying to hide her nervousness as she awaits a ruling on whether she has done well or no.

Zara nods. "Not so much as they may have. They were well-kept..."

Velvet flushes with quiet pride, "I but followed your suggestions, Miss Zara, but I am pleased all is well then. Even the childlings seemed to be on good behavior. They have rather wild stories of the quest. "

"As they are wont. I seem to recall.. ah... August sought lore... I think.. Tylar holds it?"

"Tylar is well. I saw him" then a cough "One worries about boggans. They can be foolish"

"Oh?"

"Well, yes, in my experience. I am glad he did not leave me to all the squire duties myself by dying. "Primly

"Very important, ys."

Then "I must wonder, what did you... was it everything you hoped? the library beyond I mean?"

A happy sigh. "Aye. Oh.... part of me wanted to stay."

"A large part. But... it wasn't time."

"Ah, to each their best time for an ending, but to have even been," WIstful, "To have read the books none living in the Autumn world have? Oh what a secret to hold in your heart"

"Sanditon." A grey grin.

"oh. i am envy's most ardent cultist " she admits "but i must ask, was it as good as you hoped it would be?"

"Of course! Austen was a genius."

Oh her eyes glow in that dim way that give credit to her surname Shadecandle, "I must one day go myself I think"

She nods. "A worthy quest."

"I think so. Perhaps I shall insist Tylar take me so he may make himself useful" Thoughtful

"Indeed." A wry smile.

"well, boggans need usefulness or they pang," as if this needs to be stressed.

"So.. you would be doing him a favor, of course."

"of course, you yourself have shown me that at times we sluagh must take guidance upon the less astute kiths.. for their own good"

"Ah, yes. None quite understand subtlety."

"may I compliment you on how very advanced sir Earl seems compare to other trolls I know? compared to Thane Oswald he is a veritable maestro of subtlety"

"Years of effort, on both of our parts."

"Aye, but he seems to not displease thee.. oh, thy sister wanted to know when you returned. I should go tell her."

"That would be most kind of you, thank you."

"By your leave then," She splays her fingers over her heart and bows slightly

Zara returns the gesture with all due respect

And the girl slips away on silent feet. she shows much promise she does.

And Zara might smile to know that Vashti will be seeing her soon.
