"Well... I can try."

"Slip may be a kithmate. So may Prudence. Names, aye?"

"Which they'll change." She says "most like. Oh, do sluagh not work against sluagh?"

"Names are a start, of course..." A blank sheet of paper, upon which she draws the feather, harp & rose... then she spells out the names, assigning numbers... building an intricate web connecting the digits, adding them, working a formula....

Siv raises a brow and watches her do her work

"Use-names, oft deceptive... but... chance may be on my side..."

"Power in names, even a arts weak lass like me knows that" Siv smiles

"Exactly..."

"Anyway I can help or is shushing the best step i can take now?"

"Shushing, and taking notes of what you may see..."

She nods and does shush and gets ready to take notes

She sets out coins in a pattern determines by the numbers, and they begin to softly glow as an image forms...

Siv is ready to copy the image.

On a sheet of.. oh wow, paper..she has some of that old time stuff

And the image forms one of cogs and wheels...

and the other of a curly pattern and a jester cap.

The cogs are masculine...shifting into classic shield and spear shape...

the curly pattern does the hand mirror...

and then the images fade

"...Nockers? Mayhaps a nocker and a pooka..."

"What I was thinking too... Slip and Prudence.. " A note then "Good grief, Zara you've saved me so much work"

"Tis a start, at least. I shall keep my eyes open."

"Would a discussion of payment offend you?" Siv smiles easy "I'm not so used to dealing with sluagh, save Symon. He's a good friend to Dagmar and as afar as I'm concerned a member fo the ldoge, but i embarrassed to say I've not studied Sluagh ettiquette more"

"Symon is a good sluagh. And aye - you owe me. But we can keep the favor in hold, for now."

"Well, if you're sure," She says "I brought a list of secrets to pay up."

Eyebrow.

"No seriously... information on prodigals, hauntings in the area of home, and more. If you prefer I pay you later that's fine too though I know neither of us would work against family or loved ones... nor break the Escheat. .well... certainly not the first two."

"I would not ask you to work against your family, of course not. Family is precious."

"Thank you for that, and I knew you'd understand. " Relief "Here... to lessen the debt a little so my mother doesn't panic...would you rather know something about Count Jude , the Garou? or may haps the seas of the Deep dreaming, few knew them as well as I"

That last said with confidence.

"The garou? The prodigals?" A glimmer in her dark eyes.

"Would you like to know the names of their tribes? I know eight of them for sure. You knowing the pwoer of names knows that could lead to more... " Then she also says "Careful though, for while some are quite noble, they do rage easily if crossed."

"Aye. Angry beasts."

"And yet, they have magic too..gifts ... but here then is what I know of... The Bone Gnawers, lowest of the low as some tribes would see them, and yet they thrive in city and country both. While they might be considered the mongerels of hteir kind. I have met one, and she's fierce even when her usual short human seeming self. Fianna, as their name implies, might have the strongest ties to the celtic fae.. warrior poets with fur. Silver Fangs, from what I hear, they are Russian Borne, which shold be of interest to you... but the are perhaps the highest tribe when it comes in station... the Gwydions of the Tribes perhaps. The Silent Striders are like Haunted eshu, if they weren't also annubis looking killing machines. The Children of Gaia are said to the most peacable of the bunch, wanting to ease war... but they'll protect their secrets too and it's a mistake to treat them as weaklings."

"Want the last three I know of?" Siv says

"...Aye!"

"As your payment then" SHe says "The Shadow Lords are said to be the Ailil to the SIlver Fangs Gwydion, though I have little more on than that. The Black Furies fight for all women everywhere... fierce, perhaps the inspiration for the Amazons of old... they don't have any men, or so I'm told. Not sure how that works. And last I know of by name is the Get of Fenris... they've no love of the sidhe it's said. hostile to the bone to them for some anctient wrong, and on their own, well, they put the 'extra' in the macho werewolf thing. So I'm told."

"As my payment, for this scry. Aye."

"Thank you. No offense to you, of course, but I've been warned of open debts burning a hole in pockets. And yes i realize that means if you help me track down Slip and Prudence it'll be back to the bargaining table. Careful with those tribe names though... Garou ..the Werewolves, can be as touchy about their secrets as we are about ours. I had to dig through our old mountain's notes and pester someone's friend for what I learned."

A finger to her lips. "Worry not."

"I consider you a friend and if you got hurt because of stuff I told you.." but the assurance eases her, "Well, you're the pro. "A smile "Thanks, Zara. So... do you want to help me sniff around Bergen for these two? Thanks to your lead I've got a good chance."

"I would! I am itching for a chance to get in trouble..."

She looks left then right, then back at Zara with understanding, "I know, rite? it's summer for crying out loud...this is the season for nights hot enough for you to adventure and still short enoug that you feel under the rush of dawn creeping up on you like a sentinel ready to betray you. But grumps are like so ... 'okay, let's schedule this quest here and get it out of your system' missing the point much?"

"Oh, grumps."

"I love em, but it's all so organized at times... part of spreading your wings is letting the wind take you and not knowing where it might lead" She gushes " To say 'that star..there..I'm following it until I get bored and I don't think I'll get bored soon' right out of the whim of it."

"Well, you must simply do. Tis better to beg pardon than permission."

"Clearly you do not know my family..." A sigh "They're good folks, but that slogan does not fly with them. "

She sniffs.
