"How long can enchantment hold in a hospital?"

"Depends on whose on staff... " Clovis admits "it's not that banal a hospital or I wouldn't shop there"

"Shop?" Oswald looks down at Clovis

"It's a figure of speech," Clovis admits

"I figured," Oswald looks at his friend 'This guy is like a bargain basement Lando, you sure you trust him?"

"Trust? Trust is a strong word."

"...Does he like brownies?"

"He can't keep food down easy" The satyr says "I tried."

Oswald looks troubled at this talk of someone who can't keep food down, "So you are helping..someone?"

Clovis nods " 11 year old kid named Donnie, he has cancer.. and he's hurting."

Oswald looks uncomfortable. Thaneing is so much easier when you can just shake the bad guy and throw him in a cell

She fiddles with the end of her tail, wrapping it around her hands. "Drink?"

"I..haven't tried that" Clovis admits

"Maybe if you weren't a thief, I could have brewed up a tisane..."

"Nausea, fatigue, pain... oh, anemia... " She considers, ticking things off on her fingers.

"The bowel is more tangled than a three-year-old's knitting..."

"You can help him help this kid?" Oswald says

"Yeah, can you?" Clovis, mud or not looks hopeful

She frowns at her hands, and taps her fingertips with the end of her tail to re-tally.

"I am absolutely, 100-percent, without a doubt, totally certain."

"Oh" Oswald says and nods

"So... good enough odds to try?"

"Please" Clovis says

"We'll see." Arms folded. "BUT."

Oswald assumes a position to shake satyr if his friend asks

"But?" Clovis says

"Have you considered why you are currently a frog?"

"Well, I figure the mud trap had something to do with it" Clovis says

"Mmmm."

"And what do we say?"

"You have eyes that sparkle like gemstones at high polish" The satyr tries a smoulder again, a muddy one to be sure.

SMECK Oswald whaps him lightly upside the back of the head.

"Ow.. I mean, I'm sorry and it wont' happen again" Clovis says

She nods. "Alright then."

"Ooo, I bet I could harvest some mallow and make it bubblegum flavored!"

"Hey, nice idea, " Cllovis says "Flavoring I mean"

"AND I shall require slave labor. Hours upon hours. 4,327 hours and 17 minutes."

"Uh.." Clovis blinks

She stands and brushes off her knees. "Ozzie, unstick him."

"You work for her to pay it off, Community service" Oswald says and pulls him out

"OH yes. Grinding away. Grueling. There might be lashes!"

"Don't tease" clovis says with a wink

Oswald growls at him.

"Ahem.. juust a joke" The satyr says

"Special costumes!" She wanders over and tosses a pair of gloves at him.

"Can I clean up before we start?" Clovis says

AND a sun hat bedecked with purple coneflowers... and a daisy=printed apron. "Oui!"

Clovis sighs "It's going to be very hard to keep my sex appeal going in this"

"Good." Oswald says

"Well, I mean, it makes perfect sense to wash off the mud before working in the mud. And I thought I was the pooka!"
