"Come in" he says

"Hello, Bachdion." as he does.

"August, " The satyr stands up from his desk and writing, "how are you, lad? Better, clearly, but still, how are you doing?"

He nods reassuringly. "I believe I am fully recovered, thank you for asking. How have you been?"

"Oh, worried for you and Coradel, though I imagine that's less a cause for alarm, also trying to educate young Karen some... "A smile "Really, August, she's turned into quite the beguiling fae lass... I really should meet more of your study group"

August blinks a bit deer in the headlights. "Ah. Well. They aren't anymore. School is, ah, over."

"She's lucky to have you helping her, though. Thank you."

"Thank you... you want me to teach her the same safety words as you?" An offer "So if you two ever..ah..."

"No! No, no need. Ah. No. I mean.... we aren't going to but if we did we'd come up with our own, I'm sure." Awkwardly.

A smile "Well, truth to tell I doubt she wants my full education. She's a touch of a romantic, and a bit conservative yet. Please, August, have a seat"

August comes in and sits down.

"Thank you. Things have been a little busy; I would have been to see you sooner but....."

"But you rightly tended to your trueheart first and other ladies in your life as well... chivalry is one thing I never had to teach you. Good man"

"The other....? Ah. Yes. I suppose so." Thoughtful.

"August, you'd be so proud of Coradel. She really stretched herself as a ruler and tactician."

"She hasn't told me much." He admits. "Just keeps checking my head. Will you tell me?"

"Oh I missed a lot of it," He admits "I was too well known to take part in the ruse.. .she disguised herself as Zara. Now I don't know if that was her idea or Miss Zara's...but she went as Zara while the real Zara went with her HIDING... like a trojan horse gambit. Isn't that marvelous? "

August blinks, jaw dropping. "Wow."

"She was scared, your Coradel... Fiona ONLY knew fear when love is in danger, but rather than surrender to it, she channeled it, and.. oh I'm just incredibly proud. Right through the front door..oh, you'll want to thank Ray, from Greaser? That Redcap took on Earl's form... he's the one who got you the last part of the way home"

August nods. "Coradel did mention Ray, yes. I will visit him." He looks a little anguished at her fear.

"Anyway, from what I gather, the plan.." and he fills the lad in on far more than he knew before.. Bachdion is nothing if not one to piece things together

how AUgust feels about what he learns is another matter

August might have been very shaken by the news he'd been crucified .. Paler and his loyal children were twisted as hell. Bachdion regretted telling him, but felt he had a right to know.

And so, August finds himself seeking a bit of quiet.

But as he goes to his study, he sees, a troll. Not one he knows.

The big fellow looks fierce, dressed in mortal guys like a biker , but his fae seeming and voile him him looking more like a nordic land raider in search of a ship.

August stops dead, hand going to his hip. Damn. He looks around the corridor, assessing tactics.

The troll looks up, "Hey man," the fiercness fades to a more mellow state, "How's it hanging?"

"Hanging?" -Very- on-guard.

"You know, how you doing? I'm Bowski, guess I reminded someone of 'the Dude' and well, it stuck. funnything, never seen that movie anyway, it's my name now and they told me this was your study so I thought I'd wait here and... dude? You okay? You look like you think I'm going to lead you somewhere and knock you over the head and take your wallet. The biker thing? I do liek it, but it's not like Im on the Hell's Angels"

"Your pardon, but I don't know you. You're not of EarthRunes. You have no escort in our halls. Yes, I'm suspicious."

"Well, you may notice I don't have a weapon.." he gestures to..wait, he doesn't have a weapon, "Thane... what was it? Rollo, took my axe. Said it was a temproary precaution but didn't go into details. "

August shakes his head carefully. "I'm sure you speak the truth, but...."

"Okay.. this shouldn't be that hard... I came to ask about if you needed me to drop off the list to Jude?"

Bowski seems a bit perplexed

"The list?" He thinks. "Ah! Ahh.... If he is ready to receive it, I will send it. Thank you." But he doesn't go to get it.

"yeah, here.. I know this doesn't prove anything but..." He takes a deep breath and speaks

Glamour dances, but does not realease, for an oath once taken, does not often' stack' nor is he currently nude.

(A fact for which I'm sure we're all grateful....)

August's jaw drops but then he recovers, Kenning the troll.

A touch more banal than some wilders.. and something 'wrong' about him.. a wrongness that August might recognize

He nods slowly. "I see. Ok. Welcome, then. And... my apologies for my greeting. It's been a trying week. Bowski, you said?"

"Yeah.. technically Squire Bowski... but I'm not sworn to a knight or anything and I tend to be informal. Maybe I should have bowed? Just.. not sure.. advertising my House always seems a crapshoot. Got my ass dictumed out of an Eiluned hold once. THAT was fun" he says with a casual shrug

August nods. "I understand. Although I've only ever met one troll of our House." He goes to his desk and through his files.
