She blushes "Okay, got a little dramatic there, but darn it, that was a boss line"

"Boss, and true." He agrees, hugging her lightly.

"We missed you, you goob. Even Delores" She nods

"How -long- was I gone for?" Mystified.

"Years... is how it felt. Less than a day is probably how it went.. hours perhaps but August, you're a big part of what Earth Runes is"

He shrugs. "It wasn't that long then. Anxiety probably made it seem longer."

"yeah, then you came back looking like a bowl of mashed grapes and were in a coma...for FOUR DAYS" She points out

HUGE EYES. "Four DAYS!?!?!?!"

OOC: I think that's right

"Leonora, are you -kidding- me?!?!!" OOC Sure, go with it.

OOC: OKay. I thought you said that.. 🙂 BIC: "Well, might have been three days and on the fourth you woke up. Finally"

The boy clearly has not seen a calendar recently. He looks flabbergasted. "Ah."

"Local weather was cloudy ,rainy, miserable then you woke up and bam, rainbow"

"It... Coradel said it appeared when we got back..." weakly.

"Might have been then... honest my focus was ... never mind" She says "Anyway, Delores sent a message to your parents as a friend that you were helping someone through a spiritual crisis, which is kind of true when you think on the nature of the Dreaming... aznd covered other parts of your mortal life when Coradel wasn't"

"They knew I was moving here right after school...." Mumbled.

"Probably easier for her then... " She says "Point is, its' all covered so don't worry. Oh, Sparrow has been baller... as per usual. Your squires? Oh geez, your squires... they had to haul Tylar back by his straps .... but once they explained he couldn't go save you...he was good"

A small smile. "It sounds like I'm proud of them both. All of them."

"You should be. OH! Velvet was reports on Paler's death, did he glow just a little bit brighter before he died, that sort of thing, but she knows you werent' there for that part so ..ah fair warning, she'll probably pester Coradel"

A wan smile. "I wish I -could- answer her questions, but Coradel might be happy to."

"She's ..ah.. her interest in sidhe death... doesn't that worry you?"

"I think it's a question we've been afraid to ask for a long time."

"Well, it's a good thing Golnaz DID boast or I think she'd be on the suspect list for your vanishing" only half joking

Another small smile. "I think Velvet's interest is academic."

"That'll be a wonderful epitaph for you 'His death was academic'" Wry "Fine fine. I know she's loyal to you, but that doesn't make her stuff any less creepy"

"There are worse ways for a Liam to go." He points out, not without humor.

POKE, humor or not "Too soon! you make a quip like that around Coradel she'll have a tower built and you put in it"

He winces. "Good point. Sorry."

"Liams are so High maintenance" She shakes her head

He looks at her in disbelief.

"What?" Apparently clueless to cause of his expression

"-Liam- are?"

"i'm glad to hear you admit it" She nods

"I'm admitting no such thing!" He squeaks.

"you just did, you said 'Liam are'" she says and feels his forehead "Okay, do we need to call Emma?"

"I was -asking- to see if I'd heard you correctly because -you- are clearly the one out of your head!"

"Now you're just being rude, sir" A sniff

"Rude!?!?" Disbelieving outrage.

"RUUUDE" nose i nthe air, she disentangles, "Shoo go pester some other innocent lion like Bachdion or Vince. They missed you too"

August blinks at her in confused incredulity, mouth open. "Leonora......"

"Go on..." She waves and this time smiles "I'll forgive you your tresspasses and all that, but Bachdion HAS been worried. Seriously"

August seems really off-balance. "You're not mad at me? Insulted?"

"I'm more worried about that noggin of yours... acting like Liam are no trouble to we poor overworked Fiona... but no, not mad. Go on"

August huffs an exhale, still exasperated at this nonsense. He takes her hand and pulls her close to kiss her firmly.

A kiss firm and growing a bit heated then when they part "Well.. on.. uhm second thought... maybe we should look each over for head bumps in my room?"

A gentle smile. "Tell you what. Let me finish my rounds, or I might not have the courage to do so, and I'll make a point of planning something special for us."

"Sounds nice" she says , gives him another kiss, and sways off looking over her shoulder "You know where to find me"

He doesn't quite goose her on the way off, but it's definitely copping a feel. Then he takes a deep breath and goes to find Bachdion (or Vince!).

And so she finds Bachdion, the satyr is writing on the desk in his own small study, glasses that make him look sexually intellectual perched on his nose.

August taps respectfully at the door.
