"I can't..." she tries to move her arms, but if Delores puts it close to her lips, she gratefully takes a bite.

Heavy and slow, AUgust lifts his head. "Need... roll over." One hand works under him, and he pushes to flip over.

"Yes I know, sorry. Here. " As her liege eats, "Later I'm going to fuss at you terrible.."

And Clare is coming in "Hey how is it..." SHe hobbles "it going?"

He sprawls half on/half off the bed, but at least he's on his back and breathing.

"You have my permission to bean the liam if he moves again. I've tranqued him" Delores says

Claire blinks at that "Oookayy"

"No fair." He's fading "Sneak attack."

"Claire..." Coradel says. "How are you?"

The browning's magic is flowing through the Fiona.

"Better than any of you" Claire says

"And worried sick about my husband." She says in a lower tone.

A deep breath as she feels the healing glamour. "Oh...that's an improvement, thank you, Delores." A bit more focused, she tries moving her fingers and toes.

"How is he, Claire? What's the latest word?"

Her toes wiggle.

Claire says "THe broken bones aren't the problem, it's the risk of brain damage" She says

Yes, she looks a bit shaken at that.

Eyes wide. "Brain damage??"

Delores says "There's nothing we can do about it from here, I'm sorry to say. " Her phone beeps.

She looks it over "Good, Velvet got the physical copy of the records"

A faint snore.

"You are SO lucky he didn't hear that," Claire says "Risking his squire?"

"I know, I know" Delores says "I needed a sluagh, the librarian wasn't in, and Mr. Gluminksi is visiting family"

"Give Velvet my thanks."

"She's the best one for the job, Claire, given the available resources."

"I'm aware, but it doesn't mean August won't be pissed." Claire says. Then she takes a deep breath. "How's my squire doing?"

"The police are being handled." The Steward says "She's not trustworthy, but she's good."

A scowl. "If I ever see that eshu again...."

"Well, that's another problem for later" Delores says. "I.."

Bachdion comes in, "I've burned more dross in the last hour than.." His eyes fall to the nurse.

Nurse Kimberlee moans "Yes, all the feather, every inch"

"I remember that night...." Coradel sighs. Then a rueful, "Hello, Teacher-Mine."

"Rough night, my crimson haired pupil?" Bachdion moves to stroke Coradel's hair.

*ZONK*

"I think I've had worse, but I don't remember it. Delores defeated August." she nods toward the other bed.

"Oh Delores, one day you and he need to sort somethings out. " He gives her a look.

Delores sighs.

"Could you just..take him if it's safe?" Delores says "Looks like it's safe."

Bachdion says "With your permission?" To his liege

"Take him where? Home? Yes. Get him out of here. Get him safe." Her brow is delicately lined with concern.

Bachdion touches August, and the sidhe vanishes. And more dross is lost.

"He's on his way to Emma's care even now" Bachdion says

"Good. Okay. And Deryn can keep him home. He needs to stay there." She stares up at the ugly ceiling over her bed again.

Delores moves to her "We'll get you out soon too. It's just taking a bit more work. Your family is somewhat famous"

"Oh...oh, no. Chloe's parents. Are they here? They...they've been enchanted before, we can tell them what they need to say, and why..." grasping at straws. "August wouldn't like it, but...."

"Already covered," Delores says "But how well i'ts going I'm not sure of. "

"Oh." She frowns and glares at her casts and traction, testing what movements she might be able to make.

Better than before to be sure, somethings broken, now more like fractured

Not enough better, though, and she pouts. Then a sigh. "What else should I know, Bachdion?"

"Your daughter is livid?" Bachdion says
