A breath "is it true that you ..well, autumn sidhe, are more resistant to banality than arcadian ones, and yet more often put in danger from it? that you attract the mortals even when you don't want to? I mean, a lovely lady like yourself would period, but beyond just appearance?"

"It... yes. Humans can respond... strongly. I have to be careful."

"I understand my response to banality is about the same as the average commoner, because that is what the changeling way does."

"So a bit of good to it, a bit of bad to it; the same as almost everything else I suppose. well, you wear it well" The Dougal says "Thank you for sharing your art with me. It's an insight. Artists can pretend their touching grander things, and often they are, but we always leave a little of ourselves in every work."

She nods. "It's... vulnerable. Good art, that is - because it reveals you, even something simple is opening yourself up."

"And that is an act of courage. I remember one of my first attempts at ..well, for our righ we dougals don't fight, we submit craftwork. one of my erlier attempts, and I see now I rushed it, was this gaudy Harry Potter like wand with gold thread in it..."She winces 'It did not go over well... the Master called it uninspired, and not well crafted for all that. I felt like I had been disrobed and then told I was ugly."

She makes a sympathetic noise. "It is easier in retrospect, of course. But when it is still new? Criticism can hurt."

"Oh yes, constructive, truly constructive critisism is a god send." She says "I wonder in fact if thhat's how Nockers say I love you? Perhaps that's un fair, but it would explain some interactions with them I've been around."

"I... you know, that makes a lot of sense, actually."

"Their tongues seem as cursed, in a way, as a pooka's..."

"Oh Nockers are amazing, but to a fledge sidhe girl? Oh my goodness they seemed so MEAN.." A chuckle "I have a sense of humor about it now. One has to in House Dougal, nockers are the second most common kith and not shy about telling the sidhe what we do wrong"

"They aren't shy about much! But... I like them, I respect their craft."

"Impossible not to if you respect craft at all. " Gowdeen says then "Just for curiousity's sake, is there a paticular kith that gets along best with Liam House? I mean, obviously each sidhe has their own friends regardless of House but... at that level?"

"Liam... well.. I don't think we have ties as deep as, say, Fiona and Satyrs or Nockers and Dougal... most find us either too seelie, or dislike the Oathbroken reputation. Few will swear to us."

"But, well - my house mentor is a troll Knight, and his strength undiminished by taking on the blue and silver."

"Interesting..." She says "Yes, that goes against what folks know of y..pardon, what folks THINK they know of your house, either that or trolls.. Dougal is picky really in only one way- if you can craft well, and live for it? We want you. It's Sidhe Boggan and Nockers, but just about every kith has been accepteed at times. " the Dougal looks thoughtful "We did nearly lose piskie. Poor fellow couldn't help 'borrowing' tools. It wold be like if I 'borowed' your paint brushes without warning"

"Poor things really can't stop themselves, can they?" A rueful smile. "They will usually also return them, if asked..."

"Yes, sometimes when not asked but.. you know crafting temperament..wee're territorial at times" Gowdeen is still admiring the painting "So.. you think your father wants me to be your new housemate?'

"I think maybe? He is moving out in June..."

"But if you are not wishing to reside in KC, I understand that, too..."

"I am fflattered that he or you would even consider it. " She ponders "I should go request haven here for tonight, but maybe you'll join me for dinner somewhere later tonight? tell me more about the offer, if this isan offer?"

"Well..." Feathers rustle. "We can talk about it. And you'd need to meet Colton, too - he's my squire, and I am something of his guardian."

"So he has a say, that's more than fair. And I'm not decided myself but.. you're very easy to like, if you don't mind me saying? Meet you later tonnight then?" She suggests a time as she makes her withdraw to ask for that spare room

Another fluff of her wings and she nods. "I... yes, that would be nice."

"wonderful" her golden and amber eyes flicker over to that painting "Just..gorgeous." And then she slips out...a confident motion to her walk
