"He'd been trying to rush the studies, but was a quick study... I bent over to find a book of poems for him to memorize to recite to her... reallized the book was missing, thought about going to the library in case someone had moved the book from my study by mistake and...he was gone. August, I'm sorry. I'm pretty sure he's on his way to that unsuspecting Dougal right now."

"Oh Damn!" August almost bolts out of the room, stops, and turns. "It wasn't Rumi's Book of Love, was it?"

"As a matter of fact..."

"It doesn't matter, I don't think he took the book I think he just left"

"Ok. Sorry. I'll get it back to you." And August bolts.

He passes the word as quick as he can while making his way back to the County Seat - the BIG satyr needs to be stopped/held and August informed.

Rollo will pass it on. August is fast! In a hurry ! but satyrs do have an edge in land speed.

He inds the smae thane at the lake house as before, the green ogre looks annoyed.

"Big troll, where?" Out of breath

"You calling me a big troll or asking me if I've seen a big troll?" The unseelie thane adds "Sir."

the sir is grugdingly given. Liam

"No, have you seen one? Gladiator? BIG."

"Nope. Seen a satyr come through who was huge, but no trolls"

'now, if there's nothing else..."

"No, that one, the big satyr... where is he?"

'You said TROLL.. now you want a satyr? which is it?" The thane says "i'm not a mind reader, Knight of Liam"

"Damn." And August tears off in the best direction he can think of.

Ack! Delays!

The totally unhelpful thane and his Liam bias cost August precious moments and he goes looking about for either Caesar himself or at least a friendlier source.... he enters in the halls...

"Huge..." August hears a voice, female behind a door in the left hallway "Just immense"

August skids to a stop and... lord help him... listens.

"I had to use both hands as I worked it" She continues "I mean, it was intimidating , I wasn't sure I could handle it"

August taps at the door.

Another female voice says "Well, Pole arms aren't like other weapons... " At the tap "Yes? Come in"

August opens the door and peeks. "Pardon, ladies. I'm looking for a big satyr?"

Two sidhe women turn, and August recognizes one, the one who warned pole arms were different, Dame Nansaidh. The Gwydion knight is surprised, "Sir August ? Here? I'm sorry, Lady Ernelle and I have been talking in here about learning new weapons for the last half hour with the door closed. If there's big satyr out there, we have't seen him, but perhaps I can help? Do you know what he was doing here or looking for? I know where most locations are. " Then she adds "Lady Ernelle, this is Sir August, the scribe I told you of from Earth Runes. Sir Knight, lady Ernelle."

The lady , dressed in thin chain, bows

August bows back. "No, sorry, I lost... ah, no, nevermind. My apologies, ladies." And he will keep looking if possible.

"you're right, he IS rather odd. Anyway... I think I'll stick to single handed weapons"...

august races through the halls...and runs into..oh crap, it's the Ailil knight he once punched in the nose..not that either really remembers that

"Sir August?" Startled

August skids to a stop. "Sir (Ican'trememberhowtospellit). Ah. Well. Well... Ah. Hello."

The Ailil says "you were moving quickly, did a dreamer need a thorn removed from his or her paw or are you looking for something particular?"

As calm as possible. "I am looking for a very large satyr."

"Oh that fellow, he was looking for a golden eyed Dougal... I believe one servant mentioned it might be Baroness Gowdeen Nighthaven and where she might be found if he had business."

"Where?!?!"

The Ailil smiles "I'll tell you, sir, out of respect ffor your strict adherance to your code even if I persoanlly don't follow it it... honor and love and beauty and.. oh repaying of debts. I'll even tell you how to get there faster"

August barely restrains himself. "Thank you, sir." Vibrating on the spot.

"He was directed by the halls , as he's a commoner, and had to wind his way around to the Tower, but if you take this door up" He taps one "you'll find yourself at west tower... there's a thin bridge to the east tower from it, mind the chimerical ice but much quicker you might be able to beat him there even with his his head start."

August starts off... pauses... looks back along the suggested route with... well, let's say it's telling caution.

"Sir knight" he grins 'If I mislead you, you'd not be as indebted, would you?"

A smug grin at that

Low "I need to find this man, Sir. Do not mess me around."

He laughs at that, "Then you better hurry, the tower, don't slip... and.. you're losing time"

"I will remember, either way, sir." And off he shoots, following dubious directions....
