A cool, sunny Sunday, sometime after August returns from services, and Coradel has convinced him to join her for a run with Claire. "You'll have to get used to her sometime, love."

"I'm used to her." He assures mildly.

He pulls on worn work-out shorts, a tee-shirt with the sleeves off, his running shoes.

Leggings and a long-sleeved top that still fits her shape snugly, she stretches a bit as they get to the meeting place at the entrance to the manor.

He stretches as well, but his eyes linger admiringly on her.

"Well, it might help to actually know her a bit, is what I'm saying."

Claire comes out, her own running shorts, sneakers, and top still for heat, but modest enough. She used to hang out in New England so Missouri still feels muggy hot to her at times.

Coradel smiles a greeting to her, then asks them both, "Three miles? Something light like that?"

August shrugs and nods agreement.

"Or we can see how we're feeling, I guess," she adds.

"Hello, Baroness, Sir." She says , and stretches a bit "Three miles? Fine by me"

"Claire...you're going to be our daughter-in-law. Do you really want to call me by my title?" Coradel takes off at a jog to start.

August follows up in the rear.

"Sorry, Coradel, court mannersi n court only then?" She smiles "And the wedding has been delayed more than once. We'll see if the new date works"

"Well, as far as I'm concerned, court manners feel out of place while we're running and sweating without chasing an enemy." She smiles and picks up the pace a bit. "When is the new date, again?"

August jogs along, an easy pace.

"Before Samhain" she gives the date, the Ailil has a steady jog, slightly ahead of whoever lines up next to her her. A competitive streak perhaps.

Coradel keeps pace without pushing for the lead. "Anything I can do to help make sure you don't have another delay?"

"Somehow I doubt it, Baroness. I appreciate it , but in this case part of the problem is my mortal body's family. I.. well, sometimes I neglect"

"Mmm...it's easy to do that, at least for me. What are they like?" She glances back at August to check on him and make sure he doesn't feel neglected himself.

"Just a sister. I'm not fond of her," She races "But custom dictates, right? "

He runs along placidly, watching the horizon.

"I guess. Why don't you like her?" She matches Claire's pace. "Old grudges, or new?"

"Well, she's mortal, so there's a large part of my life she's not a part off, but I can't stand her. She's..so annoying. Opinion about everything, has to be right."

"Really? I see..." A little bit of a smile there.

"Yes, I know, I know... but the difference between her and I is I AM right"

A laugh. "Well, of course! I know just how you feel." This time she's the one who pushes the pace a little.

the Ailil smiles and picks it up to match "Anyway, she is a toucch on the banal side, not too much so. So do i invite her her husband and her family? Do I enchant them."

"Hm. Well...I don't think you get much of a choice about whether or not to invite the husband, I think that's probably a given. Her kids, though? No, I don't think so. I think you can get away without having to do that. As to enchanting them...August? What do you think?"

He's kept up easily. "Hm? I ..... What sort of wedding is planned? Fae, or mundane?"

"It was going to be fae, but word got to my sister that I was getting married and damn it, now she is making noise. Now i'm not sure. hence the delay"

"It's just her and her husband?" A look back to August. "If they're banal, maybe a bit of enchantment might, y'know, help them out?"

He trots along, but shakes his head. "You know where I stand. Mortals should not be Enchanted unless there's dire need."

OOC Unless I'm wrong about that.

((Seems to be August's standard answer, whether it matches escheat or not))

"Well, I think helping banal people enjoy their sister's wedding is sufficiently dire."

A grumble "Maybe I should just get her and her husband drunk and TELL them they had a good time at the wedding"

OOC Well, at least I'm consistent....

"That works, too!" Coradel laughs. "But...okay, tell her you're having a nudist ceremony and you don't think she'll be comfortable with all your nudist friends."

"I.." pause "I never would have thought of that"

"Telling her that, or actually having a nudist ceremony?"

"telling her" she laughs "though having one has some appeal"

A stutter of footsteps behind them.

"Because I think it would make for a fun wedding!"

She hears the stutter of footsteps "And that sort of reaction woudl be the appeal"

Gotcha, love! A little laugh but she doesn't look back.

"You okay back there, August?" a smirk as she keepsh er own pace going

"Fine, thank you." Quietly.

"Might be amusing where Magnus and the gents would have to wear the bowties"
