October first, suddenly the garden decides it's fall and the summer greens shift to reds and oranges all over!

A possum frolics in the carpet of gold and russet leaves!

A skunk tail pops up like a periscope

Shuffling through the leaves

The possum stalks the striped tail, sneaking up from the side. Not behind, never behind...

wise, the tail twists as it were looking around

rustle rustle rustle

The pile with the striped shoots straight up, and freezes

rustle rustle POUNCE!

A loud Burp from the skunk!

Oh wait, wrong end! Dammit, he's been pounced

The possum does a little possum-ish dance and bounces off.

A confused skunk head pops out of the leaves, and sneezes

Then scrambles through the leaves again
