Two squires face each other, a sluagh and a boggan.

"this is silly... i've changed my mind" Velvet whispers

Tylar shakes his heaad "You need to know some basics of sword play. It's just practice weapons"

"it's going to be loud" she says eying the wood "it's going to clack"

"And when it's metal, it will clang. I'm sorry, they don't muffle swords"

"they should" she observes, "en guard?" she strikes a pose as if wanting it far away from her

Tylar sighs "No no... " and starts to help her "Your footing is wrong and you're starting out oveer extended. See?" He knocks her blade out of heer hand

"rude' she hisses.

He sighs "it's swords, not high tea"

"High Tea" the girl says loftily "makes sense"

"do you want to be fussy and suck at sword play, and listen and at least have a chance to help your knight if worst comes to worse?"

..." then "fine show me."

And he does, they practice.

By the time they are done, Velvet can hold a sword better, and STILL thinks this is silly.

AndTaylor makes a mental note to hang out Colton more.
