"Ah, well, it's ... it's a matter of study for the House, not exactly my specialty though."

"Hm. I suppose I can see that." She nods.

"So. I was thinking of both. I've asked Zara and Dame Agencourt to speak with each of them, kith-to-kith."

"When do you think you'll be able to make a decision?"

A sip. "Sometime after I get back."

"Right, yes...." She nods, then grows quiet.

He clears his throat.

"Well, I'll...I think I'm going to go for a ride." A restless energy about her. "I'll be back before you leave, certainly." She rises.

He nods, pushing the glass around. "As you wish."

She pauses and gives him a soft smile. "I love you, too." She reaches to brush a lock of hair back from his forehead.

He looks up at her and gives her a shy smile.

She bends to press her lips to his, a gentle kiss...and then straightens again and heads out of the tavern, saying goodbye to Jack as she goes.

August rises moment later, and likewise departs.
