A new day for Coradel though she has woken early.

Restless, she's up and washing and dressing in a smooth buck rapid progression.

There is a knock at her door, "It's Delores, Lady. Should I tend?"

"Please, yes, Delores. Thank you." A flurry of words as she paces, wrapped in a robe as she peruses the closet.

She comes in, and starts to tend with practiced skill, "if you don't mind me asking?? How are you this morning? "

"Leathers, I think...." she mutters.

A sigh. "I'm fine. I just...this isn't going to go the way I wanted it to go, but that doesn't mean ..." She pauses and looks at the boggan. "Delores...do you have an opinion about what should be done with the redcap?"

She outfits her liege, "My opinion? Well..." A frowwn, "He must be punshed. He threatened one of ours. I'm sorry, but you can't let that slide. Maybe it's vicscousness on my part."

She considers this as Delores tightens some laces on her bodice. "It doesn't seem vicious to me...but then, I may be biased. No, I have no intent of letting his offenses slide."

"What I want to do is vicious, but I'll behave myself."

"What do you want to do, lady?"

"Ohhh...I want to make him know the suffering of the animals he has had bloodied over the years. For starters."

"Mmmm" she ponders and works on other parts of the garment, "yes, that might be too bloody a spectacle."

"but I sure understand it." She ponders "And this lawyer, Mr. Layton P Layton might make a fuss."

"And less effective than gratifying, as redcaps have a twisted relationship with pain anyway."

"Hmph. That man irks me." A glance in the mirror. "What hairstyle says 'righteous judgment' best?"

"Oh, I think something off the neck. " She says and demonstrates "Up like this perhaps?"

She turns her head carefully to see in the mirror. "Yes, good. If you would, please."

She tends to the hair, "is there any resource you could be using in this matter that you're not?"

"Almost certainly," Coradel admits. "It has me rattled, and I'd rather hit things. But...Magnus has seen what happened, using Chronos. I do want to have Nansaidh present when I speak with Norm, but that depends on whether she can get here. I've restricted the man's access to his lawyer unless there are witnesses to what transpires. I think Vince intended to speak with him, use the pooka boon to glean more information...but I haven't heard what he discovered, if anything. And...at that point I am out of ideas."

'oh, well, uh I have one. I'm not sure it fits in this area, but it can't hurt."

She looks at Delores in the mirror. "Well, I certainly want to hear it. What is it?"

"Well, you do have a Seer? I mean, Sir Magnus is good, but surely an omen or advice or?"

A blink. "Oh! Zara! Of course, she...oh, certainly she would help." A pause. "I think."

"I... no my lady"

"No?"

"I meant, the official Court Seer?"

"The Eiluned Gentleman?"

"Hm. The Eiluned Gentleman who is so mysterious and hidden it is easy to forget that he is there."

"You can't blame him if you don't call on him, Baroness. Well, you CAN but..."

"Yes...yes, not consulting him would be a blatant oversight. See? I told you I just want to hit things." A pout. "I miss my sword."

"I know, I know...you're right."

"Should I send for him, or do you want to visit him in his work station?"

"I will go to him, thank you. And...Delores, I'll trust that you won't mention that I thought of Zara first, please? To anybody?"

"Especially not to Zara?" Amused

"Well...no, actually, that might earn me points in her book...but really, who can tell?" Coradel smiles wryly and heads out of her room and to her seer's workspace.

Almandine's station is part lab, part shrine, and so much more. She notices above on the ceiling an elaborate star chart and Zodiac wheel painted. Ad tiny inscribed runes at key points.

A pause at the entrance to Almandine's sanctum, and she knocks lightly at the archway, looking around with an expression of...melancholy?

Almandine glances up from some notes, then seeing who it is, bows, "Baroness. How are you, please, come in. Are my services needed?"

"I think so yes, Sir, though I'm not sure exactly how, yet." She paces slowly into the room, looking around. "This is a lovely space."

"Thank you," He says, "mind you, I Keep the bones and auguring materials behind a sheet so not to disturb people, so you're seeing the prettier side of it."

"It makes me think of Baron Nemausus." A moment, then, "Well, at any rate...are you familiar with the events surrounding the abduction of Isis the pooka, and her rescue?"

A wince, "In point of fact, no. It's like people forget I'm here I try not to take it personally"

"Really?" Arch eyebrows. "Indeed? I must make an effort to remedy that. Well..."

She relates the events of the evening of the abduction, and the discussion with Mr. Layton, and Magnus's use of Chronos.

"But I still feel I'm missing something...."

"A lawyer? The one evil I don't have a warding plan against," might be joking "I would of course, offer to omen the prisoner, but what you're mostl likely to get is insight into his nature or immediate plans which my guess would be 'scum' and 'get out of here' respectively. "

"Yes, well...." A pause. "Maybe that will be useful...but also, can you look into more of his past practice? If he has done other crimes but not yet been caught for them, now is the time. And...there's something odd about his build. He's unusually scrawny for a redcap. I don't know if that means anything...but can you tell if he might already be cursed?"

"I should be able to find a curse on him if there is one, surely" He agrees, "And as for his past crime. Mmm have you thought about dictuming him to confess his past crimes? Or if you prefer, I can drug him with something akin to a truth serum."
