"I'm sorry, my manners...this is Lord Bachdion. He is...has been my mentor during my fosterage."

"Looks like someone already got the bulk of it out, but the wound.. cold iron leaves something. I can heal him. But to do it proper, I'm going to have to hurt him. "

Her face falls. "How badly?"

She bites her bottom lip, "he's going to need something to bit down on. "

"Oh..." She looks around the room for something appropriate.

She opens her kit, pulling out a bottle of some sort of alcohol, a magnet, and of course basic surgical tools.

Bachdion looks up weakly, "you're not one of my...usual fantasies" his eyes are on Clem, then his gaze falls to Coradel, "Oh, there's a mainstay.Now it gets ...interesting."

Coradel gives him a small smile. "Hello, my teacher." She touches his cheek, and murmurs, "This is Clem DeBuke. She is a healer. You still have iron in you, and this...is going to be awful. But you will heal. I promise you that."

Coradel finds a large wooden spoon. Probably meant for something else but it would do for a stick.

"oh...we won? that's..that's even better. Do what you must, I'm not afraid. But I am filing away both of your faces for fantasies later ,and I fear there is little you can do about it." a weak wink

"Oh, I'm counting on it." She smiles at him, then the smile fades, and she puts the handle of the spoon to his lips. "Bite down."

"Satyrs' A sigh "I spent an evening as one and I still don't understand them. " She opens the wound that is scarring wrong, cutting it open, then pressing, scrapping. The Satyr's teeth clamp as hard as he can. Clem has reopened it all, what is sshe doing?

Coradel doesn't look at what Clem's doing...she holds Bachdion's head, gripping his horns if necessary to keep him still, and locks her eyes on his.

Fearless he is, but that's a LOT of pain. Were he not weak from his injury she might find herself flung off, instead Coradel holds him fast. What Coradel does not see is clem pour the whiskey into the well of the wound, and she takes the magnet over it as she does. "Wait for it..."

She continues to fight him into stillness, gritting her own teeth...surely this troll knows what she's doing....right?

She gathers the fragments of the iron mostly then,takes the lighter, and flame erupts in a quick burst out of the satyr's belly and he kicks!

"What the HELL are you doing to him!" Coradel yells over her shoulder, still holding on to the bucking satyr.

"Shush right now and let me work, hold him steady or this won't work as well as it could.!"

A quick angry glance, but she holds on as ordered.

Clem lets the flame run over an old ewok toy destroying the dross to gain it's glamour and chants "Loki faced Logi, in a feasting game, and while Loki ate even the bones, Logi still put him quite to shame, for also devoured the plate, table, and the chair there too.. so Logi feast on this drink and what touches it, and now I heal the wounds upon which you did sit!"

There's a BURST of glamour and...the pale satyr skin grows flush, and his wound...heals.

Oh, not entirely, but what was mortal is now far more tolerable, FAR more tolerable.

Clem wipes her brow, "Okay, worst of it is over. you can let him go now"

Coradel is a bit stunned at the strength of that, and turns to face the troll with new respect. "That...I did not know you could do that."

"My teacher?" She lets go of Bachdion.

"Heal Cold Iron wounds? Cold iron is ferrous, mangets work, get the particles floating, then blow and burn them out... replace the wound that's near impossible to heal with glamour with a wound that's possible if still hard... flame. Then you can heal that. He needs to take it easy for a few weeks and that's if he stays regular by the bale. More than a month if not. Eat soft food and soups for the next two days... he's gonna be gut sore, but he can walk."

Bachdion sits up carefullly, but he can sit up. He winces only a little then, "Incredible."

He sighs, gray has laced his fur more than before, but then it did that before Clem came in. "I suspect winter is closer now."

"Perhaps," Coradel says while wrapping her arms around him for a mighty hug. "But it is not here yet."

"I'm in your debt, Clem is it?" Bachdion says as he returns a hug back to Coradel, "But I have a question, will I be able to...perform?"

"Well, if you want to sing you might want to stay away from sustained notes for a while, strings and drums no trouble..." Clem starts to say "I don't suggest anything more than slow dancing... "

A laugh at the troll. "Sex, Clem. He means sex."

Then to Bachdion she says, "Solo performances only for a bit, I think, My Teacher."

the healer goes lavender "Oh, uhm uhm..well, give it at least four days by bale, even then after that I don't recommend anything too... brisk? Might be better if whatever your lady partner were on ... um you know, positiong, so she did the...most of the effort." BRIGHTER purple

Bachdion smiles at Coradel's translation, and seems to enjoy the blush on the trolless finding it endearing

Coradel smiles with relief and amusement both, then turns to Clem. "I am indebted to you, Clem DeBuke. Which...seems to be a trend with members of your family, I note." A thoughtful expression before she adds, "Do you need rest, or food? I hate to say that there are yet others who need healing but...it was a fierce battle, and many were harmed."

"I brought plenty of dross, Baroness. August is a friend of Earl, and Earl is my cousin. That means something to me...blood and soil, ties and binds, we're plain folk like that. But you're bound too, I see. I may not understand the noble systembut I can see you feel the weight of your folk. Don't you worry. I'll go about an tend, buy some time for your other healers to rest. I can sleep later." A glance at Bachdion, "You just remind mister bold hooves there to adhere to doctor's orders."

A flicker of her expression as she mentions August, and a nod. Then she glances at Bachdion. "You will behave yourself, My Teacher."

"By behave ..." He starts to say then smiles a bit weakly "Very well, my student. "

Clem glances over and moves to Coradel's side, "Walk with me a bit if you can?"

"I..." She's clearly reluctant to leave Bachdion's side, but nods. "My Teacher, please lie down and rest a bit more. I'll have someone bring you some soup. I will come back and check on you later."

He nods "Yes, Cora."

A fond smile, then she turns to go with Clem. "That was very impressive."

"Thank you. Some of it's from family learning, some from other studies. Sorry to be brusque with you, but there's an old saying, Doctors can over ride captains when someones on the table. I learned that from Star Trek and MASH." A flicker of a smile, "And explaining would have lost valuable time. But that's not want I wanted to talk to you about." Walking, "Earl said you wanted him looking in on August and that he might need healing?"

"No, I respect the need of the moment. I didn't like it, but I respect it." A pause. "And yes, I know he was hit. But...he is not here, and he is not answering most of my calls or texts. I did hear from him once, but..." She trails off.

"Right He's wounded, and I'm told crazy about you. His family is here. So while Earl is thinking 'I hope he's okay' I'm thinking 'what is going on that he's avoiding you or this place?'"

A pained look downwards. "I...it's something he would not want me to share, I think." Then a slightly wry look to the troll. "And I barely know you, Miss DeBuke."

"Well, there's that. But I know him, and I know..well, let's just say I've an interest in the matter though no, that doesn't give me automatic access to your romantic interaction" A concession, "And I sure got no right to tell you how to work a romance as I'm still unsure of my own, but...what can I say, I want August happy, and if you're the way for him to be happy I want you to be happy too. But if what's going on is making him race off while still wounded and thus avoiding healing or even balefire tending, then it becomes a medical matter... maybe more for a therapist than a patcher of bodies. But it does, in the area as a healer, involve me, and that one other area.Just saying, he's ssounding self destructive of late. Earl had to enchant him earlier...nearly forgot himself about a week ago."
