"Did we get any description of what she looked like?"

"It was dark and chaotic, but Coradel gave me a few tips" he gives a rough , very rough description

"Oof, not helpful. But okay. She might still be hiding, if she was scared enough."

"Might indeed." The drive takes them out of town. It's quicker than it was for Coradel, but then she was lured in by a hostage situation and then stuffed in a van. But it IS outside of the barony proper. They are no longer protectedd by the Baron's link.

"Let's try not to die" He says "Claire will be really cross with me if I die before we get that house"

"But... Cora will be safe, August is at finals. And I have my sword, I'll protect all of you."

They get out in the junkyard area, and Magnus begins searching for clues. "Look around, tire marks, bits of clothing...that are mostly fresh, and yes, blood stains. "

Sparrow begins hunting, looking for anything that stands out.

It takes time, Magnus finds the tire tracks first, and makes an imprint of the style.

Bird checks in with Jennette and Colton, calling back and forth as the trio spread out.

Her wings flare. "Guys! Found something!"

The sidhe starts following the little prints.

"easy easy, don't trod them over" her brother says and moves to the prints "Perfect. here's where we cheat"

The prints do fade as mud gives way to harder ground but Magnus starts chanting "Time in a bottle, whiskey in a jar. Help me resee, the steps of my sister's little star. "

"Don't ever doubt your heroics, Magnus... you see her?"

"See for yourself," Glamour flows as Chronos goes to work, he sheds more and suddenly Bird can see it too. A young girl bedraggled scared and confused racing to the eastern part away from the highways and into the wilds.

"If we're lucky, she's there and safe..."

"If we're lucky, we'll find her, A child that young can't be safe in the woods for long"

He moves on following the image in slow steps keeping it going

"Makes me almost wish for August's witch."

"Zara's good. I remember that much. Downplays her skills, and I suggest we humor her there. Always good to have an ace in the hole."

'why downplay your skills?" Colton asks following and on guard

"Well - sluagh dislike attention. But also, it can be smart to be underestimated. Smart, not necessarily honorable."

"Yes, I suppose that's true," Colton says

"The sluagh aren't warriors like many of us," JEnnette says "They have to compensate in other ways.'

"True enough. Still. A bit of luck would be nice."

"Wrong branch of soothsay" He says at and gestures "but, this way..."

"We go."

they move on along ... tight and close and hoping.

"Here's hoping we don't scare her, either...."

BIC: It takes an hour of searching, and more than once Magnus recasts, then he says "Sparrow, don't move"

She stops, wings quivering.

Now that she stops, she can see it too, fishing wire and something set up to bring up sharpened sticks and hurt her foot BADLY.

A sudden grin. "Smart!"

"Geez" Squire Colton says

Magnus says "There's another one over there, and...someone hit it." there's some blood splattered on sticks

"I hope that means the bad guys didn't get her..... hello? Are you hiding?"

"Careful, " Magnus starts to say. And a gunshot clips one of Sparrow's wings!

She cries out, taking a step backwards as her wings draw in.
