Strapped down on a table (It has to be a big one, she's a troll) , Siv has over her some kind of coffee pot/cauldron tipping, and dribbing boiling hot coffee closer and closer towards her, like a Laser heading for 007. Two guards are nearby... and a figure dressed fiendishly like a cartel overlord mixed with a mad scientist! He appears to be in charge

Lightning-fast, he takes note of -how- Siv is bound; metal, fabric, leather, other?

Some odd plant like vines, coffee plants bound?

Must be strong, but a blade might do it

Siv is gritting her fangs at her attacker "You're actually stealing the flavor of regular coffee for yourself? That's insane"

Three to one about to be two to one? GAME ON!!!

He steps inside as he draws his blade, buying a few more moments for confusion as he turns to hide the fact he's NOT a guard, shielding his actions as he relocks the door to trap the others... and then.... ATTACKS!! GUARDS FIRST!!! Disarm and disable is his first choice but he's not going to risk defeat.

Siv strains against her bonds trying to get free while this strange rescuer rushes forward, weapon drawn, and disarms one of the guards, then striking at the knee at the other!

The torturer turns, 'What is this treason? " he draws forth a ...spoon!

He uses his armored arm to ram others to the floor while his blade disables those with real weapons. When they no longer are a threat he assesses; in the moment, better to free the troll or address the spoon-wielder?

While the two guards attempt to recover, the Spoon wielding torturer whirls his instrument and the torture device turns and shoots a geyser of that boiling hot coffee at the Sidhe rather than the troll! Siv yells out "Watch out, step back!"

(Dex plus Dodge or Athletics, best guess)

He attempts to bring his armored arm up to block the spray....

He avoids the worst of it, but it does still hit! It would burn his flesh if it had hit it, but the uniform he stole takes the worst of that and dissolves... this is STRONG coffee as well as hot.. he'll have a first degree burn but that's better than what almost happened

He is also revealed, and Siv sees him and is stunned as the armored sidhe is shown "A..Adam??" She sees her chance as the torture device swings down and strains to get her bond rather than her caught under it. She gets a bit burned herself

Easy answer to his last question, then; he attacks the spoon man.

His blow is true but not deep as the fellow tries to back peddle. "No, the Jo Jo will not end my lord's plans!"

Still, brown liquid spills from the fellow from Adam's cut.

He presses his advantage.

And Siv, with her bond burned, works her way free and rolls off of the table that was holding her

Just in time, the guards have not been idle. One reclaims his weapon. The other limps towards Adam

The Sidhe swings with his left arm to clock the spoon guy, buy a little time, and then turns to attack the two guards.

The spoon wielder is trying some other 'wand waving' with it, but he gets clocked in the face and staggers back. Adam turns in time to parry the sword wielder

Siv tackles the other guard throwing him to the ground "Adam, what are you doing here?"

An after thought "Besides saving me ass, of course. Thanks for that"

"Fight now, talk later." it's Adam's voice, but different somehow.

"Meh, I'm multitasking.." She elbow smashes the downed one "But as ye like"

The sidhe focuses on the battle, reveling in the action and effort required; attack, attack, repost, beat, bind, attack, thrust!!

The other guardsman is no match for Adam! The Fiona's skills have also changed, improved it seems, and soon that fellow is down from his wounds. The torturer with the spoon is the only one still standing, and he turns to run from them rather than fight "Sound the alarm! Lions on the loose!"

OOC Is there a way out of the chamber other than the one he came in and locked behind him?

the fellow opens the door yelling only to find HE is locked in with them! "Lions on the ... oh no!"

Siv smirks

And Spoon Guy is pinned at the door with a sword point to his throat.

Or his back, or whatever's handy.

Well, a compromise is found and the guy is pinned with a sword to the back of his neck.

Siv takes his spoon "You've abused the privilege, and I'm a bit bitter about being burned. Where's Jo Jo?"

"With the Baron Von Bean, of course" the torturer says "You're too late. his ritual will drain the flavor of all true coffee from holds everywhere. With it, the frustration of all true coffee lovers will fuel glamour.... enough to power a SUN"

"Go." the Sidhe says "I'll get these guys taken care of so they can't raise an alarm and follow."

Siv nods and gathers her gear quickly from a foot locker where it was stored "This is a lot bigger than I thought, Jo Jo's sickness must have been a sign to this working. Of course, being Jo Jo, he noticed and the affects were visible. It can't be allowed to pass. Catch up when you can?"

"Get away from the door, over there and on your knees, hands where I can see them." he orders Ex Spoon Guy.

Ex Spoon guy complies, but can't seem to stop providing exposition "She'll never defeat the Java hounds! They are unrelenting. "

Siv says "Java Hounds. Got it. " And out she goes

He makes short work of tying everyone up, and tying them together; if one wants to move, they might have to drag two others along. And gags them all; if nothing else, it will buy time.

Siv is ahead of him by now but he was quick and might catch up. As she's a Fiona too, no doubt if he listens for the sound of derring Do, he'll find where the trouble is

He's counting on it; if the uniform rags are in the way he ditches them but if they help keep him inconspicuous, they can stay.

They're rags from the burning they took... but, hey, the guys he tied up had uniforms too. So... got it

If it's fast, it'll help; mostly he wants to get going after Siv.
