His name was Adam... still is, though in the Dreaming it can be hard to remember that. He was surprised to see Siv here, of all places, with some sort of coffee maker golem??

Alas, while Siv is wiley... she never saw the ambush . She was captured , the golem turned into it's usual form... and dragged off... towards a dark brown castle spewing steam instead of smoke out of its chimneys

But does he want to rescue her?

or at least Jo Jo?

He doesn't use that name anymore; better safe than sorry. Besides, he knows his True Name now, and that grounds him. He was patrolling the Silver Path near the freehold he's attached to now near Chicago, squire to a knight there. Progress. Of course, that means he has accepted that his friend, his lover, his teacher.... does not care to be with him anymore. Or at least, now. Else, he would never have left the Dreaming some months ago. As much as that hurts, though, he knows that it was her choice, and he loves her and respects that choice. And so, he's moved along.

Siv or not, troll or not, when he sees an attack on one who was posing no threat nor tresspassing, he moves along the Silver Path to investigate.

(Dex plus stealth, Perception plus alertness ... best guess if you're not sure)

OOC No, the rolls you can see stand. I had a momentary confusion.

The path is half hidden, but he finds it despite the steam fog trying to obscure it. The fog has an odd smell.... coffee?

If anyone has spotted him as he gains on them quietly, they haven't given a hint that it is so. He closes in , towards the open gate

He draws his blade defensively with his right, his left arm covered from neck to fingertips in a jointed armor-sleeve of Dougal make. He moves low and careful, but quick, eyes keen; two years has made him sharp.

Sharp indeed is his hearing. He hears " The golem form was hard to undo. What if it returns?"

"It must not... and this troll must be treated as a danger. For she has stumbled onto our master's glorious plan to keep the flavor for our land alone"

He seeks a spot to stop a while and lurk, listening; get the lay of the place.

Sleeping through the porticulus before it closes he moves to an alcove with some barrels. He crunches down and hears a bit more

"It is the Jo Jo that is the threat I think, even without the golem body. It must be what alerted others to the plan"

He -thought- he saw... Siv? He looks for her, and listens; if it's not her, he looks anyway.

Oh yes, that's Siv they're dragging... she's out cold. The Jo Jo? Wait, he vaguely recalls that, it was at the lodge

The lay out of this keep he's in is odd. Brown stonework with a surface like a vegatable...wait, is this place made of super hard coffee beans?

He assesses quickly if he can dash out and rescue her before they get much further away?

Well,he's inside the keep, the porticulus is closing behind them... but slowly. He might be able to take ambush, but the odds would be four to one. Unless Siv wakes the heck up

And even there, she'd be difficult to carry and it's doubtful these are the only guards. He's Fiona and Fearless, but not stupid. He looks for a way to follow un-noticed.

Stealth to the sides is one or maybe... wait... there's a laundry bin left out. Probably full of dirty uniforms, but they are still uniforms. He's not too short to be a storm trooper if he wants to try that path

He considers it, but the armor on his left arm would be a tell as much as a lack of uniform. He tries to follow along to the sides.

So far, so good...

"Put her in the west Tower"

Well, he can guess where that is...

and then he hits a snag.

There's one guard who greets them at a door, a door he's guarding. And he's looking outward

He doesn't see Adam yet

Adam ducks down/behind... something?

Well, around a corner works. For now

The door closes. That guard is still there. And now Siv and Jo Jo are being taken away

West tower..... he looks around for another way in.

Well, it is a tower. Mmm only a mad man would try to climb it on the outside. Then again, he is Fiona

But it is risky

Climbing is not his best choice, no.

OOC What do the guard uniforms look like?

(Kind of like Poofy Beefeater uniforms, only the hats look like coffee pot lids)

He is in a court yard area of this keep, there might be other doors that get him inside, and eentually around, but that's a big MIGHT
