An exhale of relief. "Okay, let's look at you..." She double-checks the Never.

Citrine is slightly hurt, thing dinged a wing, it's folded a bit, slowing her down , She fusses at it. Her vanity!

Thistle fusses and straightens the fire framing on the Never's wing.

Nimble fingers and .. good as new

And three sets of glowing eyes light up in response to the Never's glow

And by Citrine's light, they can see this cave is not empty, nor is it a closed cave. It's just the start, and guarding the way? An immense three headed Dog. Perhaps the most famous canine myth there is, at least among the greek ones

Cerebrus!

"Uhhhh.... good boy?"

At those words, there is a slight wag of the tail, the middle head seems still a bit cranky, but the first one has eased up its expression, and the third actually gives a tongue lolling smile

She learned this from Gwen! Hand extended, palm up. Non-threatening.

Each head takes a slow sniff, and then.. interest. Some scent has caught the mythic dog's attention!

And there is nothing quite so spooky as having a three headed dog with glowing eyes deciding to sniff you all over and not just the hand...

with the scent of death on each huge fanged mouth (or maybe that's just standard doggie breath)
