"Can we just not right now?" she hisses to the others.

"Jeez. Pissy."

She shoots a brief glance at Dagmar, then focuses on their surroundings. "Symon, this is your deal," she murmurs. "Lead us in."

He shrugs and goes in, checking to see if anyone else lurks around. "Madam Sly?" A whisper.

A rat eyed woman peeeks out "Oh you return. Just in time too"

Sylvi follows, if there's room in the stall.

The stall shifts

As if to accomidate them, it's more like being down in a large basement.. with all sorts of stuff

"Now," Madame Sly says "A dozen kith changing cookies was it?"

"Unless you have more." He nods.

"Last time they popped up they were a baker's dozen."

A bit of surprise at the change in the stall, but she doesn't say anything, just watches.

"Oh thirteen I had but I gave one away for a purpose" She says "Twelve is all I have of thOSE cookies. Though if you want ones that brainwash people..." A look to some onf the shelves "Makes them suggestible"

Symon, nonchalant, doesn't seem interested.

Sylvi tilts her head. "That must have been an important purpose, for you to give one away."

He suggests, "We could buy both batches. And give those others their share of magic cookies."

"They only last a day."

A blink, surprised. "That I didn't know."

"Oh but let us not get ahead.. what of price mm ? Payment.. this isn't a charity" then to Sylvi "And yes, Dear. Fate required it"

"I've eaten one, remember?"

Sylvi frowns, looking about, then glancing at Symon before looking at Sly. "I have dross." She digs in a pouch and fishes out a handful. She puts several pieces of fairly standard dross on the counter, one by one.

Symon, listening to Madam Sly, suddenly gets a look of surprise, and then frowns, thoughtfully.

She shakes her head at Symon's suggestion of the switcheroo.

"I'm just sayin' - we shouldn't overpay for 24 hours of magic."

"There," she says, having made her offer.

"And she already got one of my pieces just for a hold, which is generous." A small smile.

"A Symon Original. Sell that on Ebay."

A blink. "Which piece, Symon?"

"Mmmm supply and demand, dear" Madame Sly says , then she looks over the dross, hobbling close "This too, is temproary and far far more common. "

"They're cool, it was an interesting experience, but they also have a way of showing up for free."

"Some taxidermy. "

Sylvi nods, then says to Madame Sly, "So that standard dross added to the original work that Symon gave you."

"The payment was for the delay, was my understanding " Madame Sly's eyes light up "Did I not speak clearer? And if they are so commonly found, why not wait for them to come to you?"

"Well, one might say...to help fate along."

"I've enjoyed one of those cookies before, myself. But we've got a more important purpose than just amusement."

A glance at Symon...he really paid for just the hold?

He gives a small nod. It didn't hurt to imply that she got the better of it earlier though.

"What are you asking for them? Right now, we're guessing in the dark. We already have some, yeah?" A look at the others. "So we've made our opening bid, you are unimpressed. Fine."

"Is there something you're looking for beyond Dross?" He adds onto Dagmar's comment.

Sylvi has a measuring expression.

"For the dross you offer.. .I can give you SOME Cookies. Yes. Say.. three" A pause "OR..." She smiles "Yes, there might be something else I want .. more."

Symon waits, expectant, with a 'go on...' expression.

Sylvi calculates. "At that rate, I have enough dross for two more." She puts down the dross.

"Perhaps one of you ladies will sell the love you feel for someone mmm?" A smile

"How about no?"

A frown, and she narrows her eyes. "Only the ladies, hm?"

"Honestly, we're doing this for a purpose, as a favor, I get it - but that also means we shouldn't be stupid about what we offer in trade."

"You wanna extort, you got the wrong motley."

"Extort, so rude.. and no, from the men I would take pride.." She says

"Screw you" Dirk says indelcicately at that
