"Oh well, I'm open to bargaining" he says

"Oh my" he looks at the bird, then looks it over "You know, this would make a great adornment for the piano I'm working on..BIG Project. Would it be okay if I made this a part of that? "

She nods. "Sure! I'd rather it be used and liked than just molder on a shelf somewhere..."

A bargain is struck, one play along lute for the whittled song bird

The musical instruement maker smiles at Dagmar "You're a good daughter. I think I Should call my own mother more"

Symon seems as though he can’t decide if he should be embarrassed or offended by the offer.

"You should. Thank you!" The troll smiles.

"Come on, Symon. I think I saw Eyes of Newt on the cheap over there" Gerd says

“Poor Newt.”

"Oh I'm sorry, I only sell 'I a Newt' , it turns you into a newt for like an hour" The salesman explains later to Gerd and Symon "I also have 'I a Bat' 'I a Spider' and other creepy transformations"

"That could be really cool, though. Being a bat, flying around?"

“I can already crawl on the ceiling and lick my own eyeballs though.”

"Oh.. well, can you .." Digging "Turn into a mole?"

Gerd purchases one that turns you into a black cat "Don't judge me"

"What? I'm not."

"That'd be cool. Now, being a horse... oh, or a bird... or a centaur?"

“You practically are a centaur, all that time you spend on horseback.”

"A horse? Oh... I'm sorry, I ran out of that one. If you come back here next year I can have one reserved"

“I kinda want something for my mom,” He confides in Gerd and Dagmar, “but I think something to relax would be harder to find here. Too bad she can’t have a spa day.”

Siiiigh. "I don't know if I can plan on next year. Guess I can try though!"

“Like, get her hair or nails done and drink wine and gossip or whatever old women do to relax.”

"Wine? why didn't you say so..." Gerd says "Come on. I was thinking of getting a bottle for Kerri"

The 'I a ____' vendor waves farewell

A wave from Dagmar, and she tries to pen her memory a note to come back!

“I’m tapped out unless I start selling body parts.”

The Vitner is a satyress, and she smiles "Oh you're in luck, we've got wines of all sorts..." After Gerd tells her.

Gerd says "I got it. I'm stashed pretty full. I came to shop" A BIG grin

"I got some stuff." She offers Symon.

“I hope Sylvi is happy with the results, for how much she spent on these cookies...”

Turns out wines to relax include.. 1-a wine that when poured instantly summons a hot tub big enough for two trolls 2- A wine that quite litterally makes you forget all your worries for a delightful three or four hours ("Make sure the house isn't on fire or they won't remember it is") 3- A wine that enhances your libido and puts you at the top of your 'performance game' 4- a wine that helps you remember good things easier until it's completely out of your system.

"Will any of those do the trick? " The Wine seller asks "I had more, but a friend from Tijuana buys a lot of my high end stuff"

Dagmar blushes a bit about several of the options.

"Dagmar, I know you don't want to -think- about it, but uhm.. number one might be a great gift for your mom and dad" A whisper from Gerd

Symon is also a grayish blush color. “Uh, I’d take number 2 if you spot me some dross.”

Pretending hard he didn’t hear the other comments.

"So, anyhow..."

She shoves some dross Symon's way.

He buys the less offensive wine for Ann Marie and his dad.

"Two number ones" Gerd says

And lady takes dross and wishes them well

"Horses for sale, Magic horses..."

And Dagmar will meet a fae family that.. are actually nice to their horses! And while she can't afford one, she gets to make a fuss
