Vali sees it too "Dagmar... the goal is not to..." He tries to think of how to word this calmly

Dagmar growls!

and CHARGES

Brekke would be proud of her jousting form, Flyswatter as lance...

She hits like a train, and the brute goes ass-over-teakettle through the air.

And, it is surely a coincidence, that the man lands on one of those land mines , pops up , and then lands into whirling blades

and the horse she saved is picked up by a giant nerf mitt and carried to safety

Of course, Dagmar finds herself now facing new obstacles... whirlling blades coming at her face like a side ways guilotine

She uses her halberd to deflect - knocking them off course with brute force

It nearly flips HER out... but her horse adjust, swivels and sort of reseats her...this horse knows the course.... she's run it, again, and again, and again

good news, theyr'e both okay

and they're in the home stretch

"GOOD girl"

And for a moment, there's a flicker of hope in the mare's eyes. She remembers affection, if only everything wasn't so..bloody. She'lll never get the blood out of her mane. Later, she'll want a wash

Keep riding, protect the horse, stay alive...

And then... it's over. Cuts and scrapes, and so many bruises, but they all made it alive...

"OUR WINNER.... Furryiosa!" CHEERS as the pooka girl raises her fist

"But of course that's her name" Vali says

Dagmar hoots and hollers cheers for the winner!

Siv says "Damn that was nuts. " But she's keeping the mohawk hat

Jaymes walks to a wall...rips a mask off it, and then strides to his daughter "Grumblegrowl snarl" ("Let's go before I BURN this place down")

Fireworks... confetti, and more.

"Gotta take care of the horse..."

The owner is praising the champion, but stable hands come out to reclaim the horses. One moves towards Dagmar's horse

Another towards Siv's, and a last to Vali's

"She'll need a good brush - even better, a bath..."

"yeah yeah, she always wants a bath. Crazy horse" The guy starts to take it.

"She needs one." Firmly. "Promise me she gets it, or I'll be irate."

"Uhm.." The shorter person gulps

"I'll get her the bath" He says

And it's true

soemthing about the word 'irate' from a blue giant.. well

"Thank you." She rumbles

The horse brushes against her, and then is taken away.

A sigh of regret.

Jaymes puts a hand on her shoulder "I'm sorry we can't have another horse."

"I know. Just... they deserve better."

"That the mask?" SIv says

"It is," He nods "There's magic in it."

Vali says "Can I see?"

Jaymes then says as he hands it to Vali "They do deserve better"

"Like.. like the island of horses?"

"Siv?"

Siv says "Move with me..." She motions in a kind of walking huddle

She goes to huddle

Once they do, Siv says "Can we agree that this ..set up, isn't honorable? Those horses are half crazy from nearly dying, getting healed, nearly dying getting healed?"

Dag grimaces, and nods.

Vali frowns but nods "it's wrong."

Jaymes says "You're going to steal the horses"

"It's so much more than that," Siv says "I'm going to steal the ho.." She blinks at her Uncle Jaymes
