Toto says 'Well I lack your natural ccharm but..." he calls out "Hey you, wingless. What the hell, man?"

Alexis grips the spear, keeping herself in check with visible effort, and watches from hiding.

"Oh..go ahead and kill me," The Gorilla doesn't seem scared by the spear but he notices it "What's the point, she had the others tear my wings away."

"You want to get even?"

"How? she has dozens of my peers about at anytime, and she's a WITCH."

"Yeah, and I'm a nightmare of rage and hunger." She gestures to the others. "They do shit too. What do you do?"

"I used to fly, so high..." He sighs wistuflly, "Call me wingless as your dog did." //"I'm not her dog" Toto says inndignantly//'Whatever" Wingless doesn't care much for the detail, "But yes, I suppose even as a grounding I have skills. I used to lead the winter cleaning patrol."

"What's that?" She remains on guard with her weapon.

"we would go out with flame wands and burn away ice off the castle and areas around it it would flood like streams across the dark brick. Oh we also fought her enemies, but that was the main job." Wingless says

"Yeah? Why that?"

"I don't know" Wingless admits "None of us knew.When I nosed around, she called me a spy and had the others rip my wings of. Just for being curious."

"that-tick seems a bit tock-extreme"

"I heard water don't work on her.... maybe ice does?"

Toto grins "Oh yes! That's it... water was tried, but ice ? Just different enough to... oh hell, how do we kill someone with ice?"

Wingless snorts "A big enough icicle can kill anyone if they're not armored, or if it's from high enough"

The redcap sucks her teeth, thinking. "Guess if you, you know, wrapped someone up in ice, they couldn't breathe or anything... that'd kill 'em."

"It Tick- would most." Klok says 'But how do we get past her guards?"

"Hey, crybaby..... how do we get in?"

"You can't... unless you ccan fly. She's got her broom, the winged ones have, well, Wings" Wingless says "Glorious feathered wings"

"The bottom twenty feet of the castle have no doors, no exits or entrances"

"Fuck."

"Oh lovely" Toto curses

"I mean... I could try to bounce you guys up but then there's dealing with what you find when you get there, and I'm still bouncing people in..."

She watches the ape narrowly. "You in or out?"

"Do you think there's a way to get my wings back?" He asks

She shrugs. "Maybe? How'd you get them in the first place?"

"It's the Witch who gave every ape wings because monkeys weren't enough. They were inducted with a magic branch of Truth! Once owned by a winged sidhe! Because she touched it, some part of her magic infused the branch... or so the story goes. " Wingless considers "If we could get the Branch, we apes would not need the witch for flight! Would...may I have that as my share of the treasure?"

"Yeah, sure." She shrugs. "We win, and we find it, and we can keep it... whatever."

"Oh then apes could fly through the sky as we were meant to...well, not meant to but.." excited "yes yes. I can help you. We will find a way there.." A pause 'there are the monkeys"

"Oh course,, the monkeys still have wings" Toto says

Klok listens "Tick-I think we should consider-Tock that the monkeys aren't likely to side with us. We're TIck-strangers to them-Tock"

"And, you know, we're gonna kill the bitch."

"Crybaby, you got a way for us to get in? Or to get her out?"

"Climbing maybe, if the monkeys won't help, but we're sure to be seen" Wingless says

Toto looks at Alexis "What of you? Are you not a magical creature? Do you have any spells or art that would help us?"

"Like I say, I can try to bounce you in, but I might miss, or you might bounce into somewhere hard to stay in." She squints at the ape. "You know a good spot to land in?"

"I... know a place that might be eeasier to climb.. a ledge. "

"Yeah, but can we get -in- there?"

"If we can make the next climb, we can up to the first window. There are bars there...if we had something stronger than steel." He scratches

"Such-tick as a redcap's tock-teeth?" Klok says

ALexis nods. "Here, I can handle them. Prolly."

"THen we have a way... hop the ape to the ledge, the ape helps you up to the window above... you bite the bars...and we get in. " toto ponders "We'll need a distraction and a rope."

"You're a little tiny to be a distraction." She sneers to the dog. "Why do we need a rope?"

"So he can pull you up safely" Toto says "Unless you want to chance it on hopping twicee with little aim? And I don't know which of us should be a distraction but mmph"

"Ok, well...." She looks around at the creatures there, the surrounding landscape, checks her pockets. "Anyone got a rope?"

Klok holds up a hand well, not one of the hands in hisface, "No, tok- but I have an tik idea. Find an-ticktock acorn. We ccan-tick plant it near the wall, and I can tock-make it grow fast."

"Yeah? Yeah. Ok. That'll work, I guess. After I'm in and the spot's secure, I Hopscotch you guys up?"

Nods all around. They have a plan, at least the start of one.

"Ok." She turns to the forest in search of an acorn.
