"Hey. You know what this is?" She crouches down, sniffing. "Fresh?"

"Very fresh" He says and sniffs 'that way... maybe a poor soul needs our help...or, has pockets we can loot?"

"Yeah." She heads in that direction, following the trail.

And so, our two brave heroes go on up.

And find a Bear, wearing a T Shirt that is bloody, with an arrow poking through... it has a depiction of a woman pole dancing with the slogan 'Support Single Mothers' on it. he smells of blood..and beer.

Alexis's near-animal senses take it in. She waits, looking to see if it's breathing. And/or awake.

It's breathing, and bitching a bit .. 'Oh man, that's like...heinous way to treat the wild life"

She looks down at Toto, asking wordlessly "Worth our time?"

"He might be good in a fight ...or know something," A sigh "No pockets though"

"babe, help me out here ... little doggy dude, be chill, help a brah bear out?"

Last from the bear of course

Alexis steps out, not closer so much as just to let the bear know it's on. "Why should I?"

"to show kinndess, and I shall grant you the blessing of the Bears, good fortune will be upon you for a year and a day" Brah bear says "And it will totally make your highs higher. Speaking of which, you got any pot on you?"

Toto the 13th sniffs and says to Alexis "He's bullshitting about the blessing. You don't need a nose like mine to tell"

Alexis tries kenning the creature. Both, for that matter.

Chimerical they seem. No dark energy on either. The bear's glamour is of partying and having a good time

She squints red eyes at the bear. "No pot, an' you can't bless us or anything. So why spend the time? Hurry up; got places to be."

"Threr's like an arrow in me, babe..hard to walk"

"-I- got places to be. Jeeze, I thought pooka were stupid...."

"... you got nothin' on them."

"C'mon, dog." She turns to start away.

"Wait wait... I can help you if you help me...there's a ...a Keg, buried under an old oak. Nearby.. I was trying to get to it. it heals wounds...also gives a nice buzz. Some for you, some for me?"

She stops. "Where?" Not turning around.

"Gota deal?" the brah bear hopes

"Yeah. Sure."

"I marked it iwth a bar err bear claw, quarter of a mile that way"

"Stay with 'im." She tells the dog, and sets out, slipping into a job when she is out of eyeshot.

It's actuallyp retty easy. There two talking trees with apples, arguing about something. But she slips past and find three oaks. Only one has a bear claw mark

She looks around for loose dirt, or other signs, and digs.

Soon enough, she finds it,,, All's Well Ale! The finest healing brew in Oz!
