Clem fusses, "We got it all wrong"

"We did not, you followed the advice for the holiday as best you could" Buck says "It's not like we fed her ham"

"True, but Nordic Runes in the Tent..." She sighs "I told them a bit of decoration would be nice, but it's definitely not..."

"Orthodox?" Buck smiles

"Ugh, " Clem says "Definitely not. I can't even begin to learn Hebrew , I'm trying. "

"Call Earl, or better yet Zara?" Buck says

"And be seen as unfit mother?" Clem paces

Buck watches her pace, and knows it is a sign of love that his trueheart shows HIM the crazy no one else gets to see

"You really think Zara would be so narrow minded, or judgemental on YOU? She's a proper young lady, true, but she's also your friend." Buck says "She would never see you as unfit. She's just not stupid."

Clem looks at Buck, embarrassed and aware she IS letting the crazy out "I don't know how to ask for help."

The Troll challenge in a nutshell the Centaur thinks with fondness, "You don't have to. I'm texting her now."

"WHAT?" Clem blinks

TXT (From Buck to Zara):We're working on Sukkot here, want to see pictures of the tent? or maybe drop by to see if you can?

Clem looks at the text message already sent "I can't believe you did that."

Buck grins

TXT: Oh, yay! Yes, send pics plz!

"Darling, have you ever heard of 'Yeeting?'" A warning look from Clem

"Have I? I spent time at Rivervale for my fosterage" He grins "Dame Dagmar should get tattoos on her knuckles that spell it out" He taps to Zara TXT:Will do, and you're welcome to check it out anytime

TXT: I should get Mama's kreplach recipe to you

"She's going to notice the norse danglies and get offended" Clem worries

"Nope, she's offering Kreplach recipe" Buck says after taking that picture

TXT:Oh, that turned out beautifully!

"Well, get it," Clem insists to him

Buck promptly says TXT: THank you. We are doing a lot of guess work here, but Chase likes it. And we'd love that Recipe Thank you!

TXT: Actually, I know book...

"She says she knows Book. She's a librarian , of course she knows book." Buck says

TXT: Ours

Clem rolls her eyes, "Tell her we welcome any suggestions and..." She peeks at the new ping "Oh that's LOVELY. " She takes his phone since he can't be trusted and types TXT: That's BEAUTIFUL. And happy for any suggestions or the like

TXT: Oh, Clem here. Buck abuses the privilege

Buck smirks

TXT: Feh, I steal Earl's phone.

TXT: Your tent looks perfect! I'll bring a babka

TXT: We'd love that. Our new Hearth is getting a crash course in Jewish meals, but she's rising to the challenge considering, but she's happy for help

"Babka?" Buck tries to recall what that is.

"Babka?" A peeking out of the tent, Chase almost licks her lips

"Yes to the Babka," Buck translates.

TXT: Chase apparently likes Babka

Clem types it

TXT: Who doesn't? 😛

TXT: She's almost drooling at the WORD Clem types Do I need to appease this tonight?

The little girl is looking around for Babka, and even tries 'dowsing ' for Babka. Not how Wichtel gifts normally work

As Freeholder, Clem might sense the hidden trod opening.

She does, and smiles "She made good time"

Zara appears (perhaps with Earl in her wake?), a heavily laden basket on her arm.

Earl comes behind and waves

Buck is not so quiet "Zara, Earl! Happy Sukkot, did I get that right?"

Clem says "Thanks for coming, Zara, Earl... so sorry about any trouble"
