Helium? Helium... helium is escaping from the soufles

Still frowning, he looks 'round for Kourtney.

"Kourtney? Honey?" Clem says in a higher pitch herself "We got a problem"

Kourtney comes out and looks about. "Something wrong?"

"By chance, did a pooka help with dinner?"

"Yes" She squeeks "Slyfoot wanted to help ..." Then a wince "I am SO sorry" She says sounding like a chipmunk now, then, everyone does

Clem sighs at high pitch, then says "I reckon he remembered we had that helium tank for that birthday party left over"

CC begins to titter

Emerson regards the souffle.... and then the chef.....

"I apologize" Kourtney squeeks, bright purple "I'll get something else... I hope the Cassoulet with Duck Confit is good?"

Emerson takes a reasonably large piece of the souffle.... eats it... considers....
OOC How does it taste?

Actually, not bad! It has an odd after taste, but not a bad one. It's Not as good as the Cassoulet with Duck Confit which is excellent

He nods, swallows the bite. "Lovely, Kourtney, absolutely lovely. Very,,,, airy." he squeeks.

The Hearth looks at CLem "Permission to commit Sepuku?"

"Denied" Clem states bluntly

"Not before you join us for the meal, I hope." mildly as he continues eating.

"Well, let me get the onion soup..." A look about "And a fan"

For Emerson, the idea of a soufle releasing a gas does stir the imagination. Something besides Helium? mmm

He muses dreamily as he enjoys the meal.

The French Onion soup comes out, and it's quite lovely!

"Sounds like he just volunteered to help with the dishes to me" CC smiles at Kourtney... the blowing fan is clearing up the helium cloud

Emerson eats with every evidence of enjoyment.

Kourtney does join them, "Sorry about that Souffle" She sighs

He reaches to pat her hand. "It is delicious. I would not say so if it were not."

"Actually" CC says "I could see that being a big hit on some more light hearted holidays. Carnivale, April Fool's. So on"

"Mm. No need to give the pooka ideas, Miss CC......"

"Oh he's already had them, I meant in general" CC mmms

Kourtney considers "Well, Hearth Kerri once had farting tarts... long story there. So..maybe?" Cheerign a bit

"I... I beg your pardon?" Politely.

Clem says "Oh, Now we shouldn't make gossip of Hearth Kerri's misfortune, sides that was sometime ago"

CC wheedles "oh now, please. Emerson is a boggan, just give him the facts and he won't get the shakes from a lack of gossip?"

Indeed, Emerson looks almost starved in some kind of visceral way.
