Jessica nods and walks out with Clem. "He does. I hope he is."

"I mean, cross country , of course, so much to work with field research wise..." Turbo is saying to Mara

"Nothing like open highway... Hey, wanna see my car?'

Clem comes out to see Turbo and Mara and looks to Jessica, "I think we might have to wait just one more moment."

Turbo says "Sure, that one right?" He gestures to the Super Nova, "Hey, what's that you got mounted on the..." excited stream of nocknobabble

Jessica, knowing the signs, nods. "Yep."

"Of course, if they take too long, I take the keys and we put her in the trunk and drive home" Clem says

"Can you drive that thing? Anyway, I'm in the trunk as it is."

"YEah, I can drive it... unless she's done something like put a tranq dart in the cigarette lighter"

Need to speak more quietly or I'll give her ideas Clem realizes

Jessica's expression says she had a parallel thought.

Mara has lit up, pointing out all of her modifications to the kinain - like a kid with the best macaroni art!

"So the chains just slide onto the tires WHILE driving if the snow and ice build up? GENIUS"

"Yeah, see, it's got this little release here..."

"QUick flip switch, nice. YOu ever thinking of voice activation? It's the rage now"

"I've been focusing on getting this hunk of junk to be trod-worthy, which is tricky.... internal combustion just plain don't work, so I need a secondary system..."

Clem coughs. In that way meant to intrude without doing so verbally

"Oh, I can furking see why the kineticrecharger would be of interest to ya then" Turbo says "Sides the fact it's just furking ace"

"SO ace..." Did Mara hear her?

"Mara? We need to go."

"...oh."

"Actually, with the greater surface area of the Supernova, if you could get something like that set up for it, it's greater mass might amplify the energy surge even more, but would take longer to get going... but with a primary system already in place not so bad."

Turbo nods

Clem hears the 'oh' and winces, then "Would you like to invite your friend to the farm for up to three nights if he's interested?" He's kinain. Maybe he won't be as... emotive as most nockers

Jessica nods. "And/or Fenix."

"You wanna come? Fenix has the Spaceships."

"You guys take Kinian? I mean, I ain't got the soul, but I got the drive!" Turbo says "I'm Turbo, Fenix.. this space ship co op is there right? Near there?"

Clem looks to Jessica, if she's offering Fenix NOW then... that's fine

"That's what Clem said..."

Clem brows (I think I'm being offered up mighty quick)

"AND race cars..."

"You would be welcome at Fenix." Jessica nods. "And I would encourage Skyhook to receive you."

"Oh hell yeah.. sure... " He grins

"I'll show you Big Green, he's a 1952 John Deere..."

"Okay, let's go to the farm THEN ..figure a way to get these vehicles to Fenix over the road if need be.." Clem opens the door to the Supernova "How about I drive this time, Mara?"

Turbo winces in sympathy for Mara. Clearly Clem does not undertand nockers to even ask taht question of Mara in front of Turbo like this.

"Pshaw."

"Fine," Clem says "Then would you hustle your rear into the driver's seat so we can get this show on the road again?" A look to Turbo "FOllow us if you can"

Turbo grins, "You got it"

A wicked grin. "If you can keep up."

"Ffft" Turbo says putting on a helmet, but one that does more than protects you, it's streamlined with side view cams

And Jessica gets the 'lay back like you are in the Detroit version of a cat scan machine' treatment again

Mara fiddles with some switches to compensate for the extra cattle weight....

and then

Clem says , head bent to her knees "This position IS set up for praying... so there's a plus"
