Jessica is used to fae bars and taverns, more or less. She traveled enough. But rather than a burly stout guy wiping the glass, it's a mohawked sidhe woman with a nose ring. She's got a black unicorn tattoo on her bare shoulder, her shirt is sleeveless , "Clem, how goes it?"

Others in appear to be sidhe, sidhe kinian, a Clurichaun, a redcap Kinian, a nocker kinian, and an Eshu guy playing pool against a pooka. Most are bikers, or at least blend in with them.

"Doing all right, this is my friend, Jessica. You keep an eye on talent, Lacey D?" Clem says "That's still one of your things?"

"Shit, it pays the bills" She smiles "What can get you, Jessica. First drink is on the house for fellow changelings. DOn't worry, everyone here is enchanted one way or naother"

MARA can see that the electrical patterns never deviate much, it's almost like circuit free guidance along the exterior here....

"Um." She glances at Clem. "RC?"

"Playing it safe with RC," Lacey D says "Now Jessica, I take it , you're the one I'm talent scouting on behalf of? "

She sits down on the asphalt so she can study the patterns. Her knobby fingers work out little diagrams in the air. But.. she doesn't touch.

Coralous (Sp) effect with electricity? No, it shifts now and then opposite ways... this all why it stands still... mmm maybe when it is in motion it alters the pattern to reflect a stream lining.

"If you know of good Fae who are looking for a new situation, I might be able to help them find one."

"I know a lot of good fae, " she says "Question is, good at what? "

"Sounds like you're leaning towards Seelie, am I wrong?" Lacey D says. Her tatoo shifting as she moves. Something about that tatt seems familiar

Jessica frowns faintly. "Court isn't an issue. Pardon me.... can I ask where you got your ink?"

"This? Old boyfriend" She says "Geez, been years. Okay, almost everyone i know upholds the Escheat, it's just smart...now some good musers I got ones with a softer touch. Any skills needed to go with those styles and stances?"

Clem's eyes widen as Lacey D talks about an X

MARA thinks she's got the pattern down, it does react to motion.. she can tell when a breeze goes by!

She tries flapping her hand at it to spur a reaction. (Not Touching!)

"No." Jessica speaks as if there's an unexploded bomb in the middle of the room. "Nothing specific."

"I think she's looking for someone who can work with people" Clem tries to help "But doesn't mind a bit of back and forth, that right , Jessica?"

"Yes....." She takes a breath. "But for a representative, it has to be someone I know, Clem. Someone I trust."

"So maybe Lacey D knows someone who is looking for a change of scene, or a new challenge, and over time....."

She smiles, "Got an idea, yeah" A look at the Eshu, "Hey Smoke?"

The Eshu turns around, to mortal eyes he's an Africian American man, but his fae seeming makes that skin seem to shift, at least the hue of it, as if yes, there were smoke right under the first level of it, sometimes darker, sometimes not, "You got something for me, Lacey D?"

"not sure, this is Jessica... she's looking for bleeding hearts like you it sounds."

Smoke turns, he's a grump, the white goatee contrasts "Jessica? I'm Smoke. Been thinking of moving to a new location. You might be able to put me up and keep me from getting too bored? " A pause "Don't work with ravagers or folks who enchant humans as pets"

Jessica goes over, offering her hand. "Smoke. There's plenty to do, I punish ravagers, and we don't keep humans as pets."

"A start we can begin with there," he says and shakes her hand, nothing to compare with troll power, but confident, "how about I just tell you my skills?" He says "Like most Eshu, I tell stories, and I admit to knowing how to play to a crowd. I can just be folksie, or I can adopt a harder edge... in the past I've tailored it for a good cause as suits me. Soem folks think Eshu are con men, and some of us are, but if you want to be welcome as you wander, you have to know how to move with the flow until it's time not to. I'm a grump now, but I'm still warm enough when it comes to the ole fae soul. "

"I can't think of many Eshu in Renaissance, Smoke. You might be a pioneer."

"Well, you probably have us, just the young ones don't... Reinaissance? You're THAT Jessica?" A BIG Grin "yes, I do know some stories"

A sigh.

"Would you like to come for a visit? See if it's a good fit?"

"Sure, only I do need at least 3 days at one hold or another or I will be hotel shopping right up. That okay?" Smoke asks

Lacey D raises a brow , clearly curious about this 'story' about Jessica now

She nods. "I'm inviting you. Our hospitality is yours for the duration of your stay."

by Now, Mara has taken the slight waver, and learned how to blow on it, and interact. She thinks she could leach the excess energy off with the right sort of rod or wire.

She crawls around to check the other side, looking for a power source.

Smoke grins, "Then I will definitely come and visit. How soon do you need me?"

"When you can." She nods.

"i'll be there within a week , not sure if it's tomorrow or 5 days from tomorrow, but I'll be there." Smoke says

The Nocker Kinian looks out the window 'Hey, who's messing with my hawg?"

CLem winces

Jessica nods again. "We'll watch for you. Until then." She returns to Clem and Lacey D.

She's taking notes in a little tablet she keeps in her pocket.

Lacey D says "I can keep looking, but Smoke's a soft hearted and sharp witted so..."
