"Siv....." warning.

"Fine..fine. But it ... she... argh. It kills the whole plan for us to be spilling the details while Lady Peacock feather is possibly scrying us. That's why This was ideal and I'll shut up now" Vexed her father doesn't see what she's trying to say

"Very few can scry us here, if it helps your ease," MOuntain Emmit says

Frank rubs the base of his horns with a sigh.

"Pardon, Mountain Emmit but we don't have the same wards at home." She sighs "FIne. Since we are shielded here. The same sluagh who helped me recover mhy birthday with the willworkers and the time loop. Raven, or Zara as you know her. I think she'd be good at it. And I think she might help if I asked."

Frank frowns. "White hair?"

"Yes. She's a friend, or I like to think of her as such though we have not interacted as much as I like"

Rivervale's Mountain looks uncomfortable but shrugs. "We will talk about it."

"I would vouch for zara, Frank, if it helps" Emmit says

Siv has to fight the urge to say "HA!" ..instead she gestres towards Mountain Emmit while looking at her dad as if to say w'ell there you go?

Frank lifts an eyebrow. "You would? How well do you know her?"

"Quite well. She's dating one of my grand nephews... Earl. And has added me ably quite often."

A slow exhale. "Hmmphm."

Siv bites her bottom lip a bit but does not say anything further on that.

"I will tell Brekke this, too." Frank nods.

Siv's left eye twitches at something but she says nothing.

Emmit nods "Of course. "

Frank nods back. "Well." Grimly.

"Now, onto the topic of the Leanhaun... there might be another way I could offer to help if you like, Frank"

"I'd be glad to hear it."

Frank paces back, sits, and takes up his lemonade again for a thirsty drink.

"No one except hte Leanhan know why, but they do age at an odd rate. They have ways of forestalling this... but it's built into them. No less than the ..ah pardon me , 'vibe' that some folks pick off Liams"

"If you like... I might be able to tinker together something that lets you sense them."

"iv'e had some practicing omening houses and house loyalty... in my many efforts to hold back noble incursions over the decades"

Siv's brows go up curiously.

Frank nods. "I think we'd take that help, and gladly."

"Be back in three days and I'll have it ready. I'll attune it so it doesn't sense Seelie Houses"

Frank nods and offers his hand. "Thank you, Emmit."

The mountains clasp "Always a pleasure to help a brother Mountain, Frank"

"Anytime we can return the favor....."

"If I were a mean man I'd make aj oke about discussing the cow and chicken trade for your daughter later" He smiles "But I'll keep the offer of aid in mind. You valers are always true."

Siv smiles at the warm scene then ... "HEY"

"If she keeps this up, I might make that trade." Frank says gravely.

His daughter's jaw opens then.... "First, I am worth at least two cows..."

"Thinks a lot of herself, doesn't she?" Emmit says to Frank straight faced.

"Second.... neither of you is as funny as you think?" A MMPH! her nose crinkles

"She was cuter when she was little." Frank explains.

"Happens to them all, don't blame yourself" Emmit takes his free hand and pats Frank's shoulder.

"And I'm heading home" Siv throws her hands up, and scoots off

"I'll go with you." Frank nods to Emmit. "See you in three days." And he sets off after Siv.

Siv looks back at her dad, "hurhumph...ought sic Uncle Olgar on you. H'ed drag you to a feminist rally SO fast..." but despite her lamentation she doesn't seem THAT offended.

As they head on towards the footbridge

"Olgar might, but he'd also buy me a beer." Frank predicts as they enter the Rath and head home.

slight nudge expressing both irritation and fondness and they are onto the silver and GONE.
