The Grand Bes Din consists of six Nockers (three Seelie and three Unseelie). These judges, called Dayan, record invention specifications on a special form of retrievable goblin parchment and file the sheets in a massive iron vault. They then give out trademarks for original inventions. Any nocker who invents something has sole proprietorship of that item for three years and ain't no one else can profit from their work without permission.
