"It's a really good price" Clem says

Bix stares "It's also a ford pinto."

"A station wagon type even" he adds

"Lots of room" Clem says, "And it's cheap" That seems to appeal a lOT

"She's going to hate it" Bix says

"MAAAYBE... let's see if she wants us to buy it, at that cheap cheap price" Clem says

"Bet you ten bucks" Bix says "She'll hate it." A glance "heck, I think I hate it. that's a mom car...oh, and it might explode"

"Can't she..use the explosion to power the vehicle?" Clem says.

Bix gives her a look.

Clem says "LIke I know what she can do?" A shrug

Clem sends a picture of it, and a text. Bzzt Supercheap, good shape

The response comes quickly, "Oh I don't think she's going for it." Clem winces

"Well, some folks say they hate to say they told you so, but we DeBukes were raised to be honest" Bix comments.

Clem looks him over "How would you like to clean the stables for days in a row?"

"I mean.. darn, well, she's just picky" Bix corrects

Clem sighs "Well, I won't force it on her, it's not worth the..darn that was cheap...not worth the savings." She texts back Bzzt "Okay. I'll tell the owner no thank you."

And the two move onto find other possible options for Mara.
