Sully lays there, stunned. Good lord, someonne would think he was dead.

But as a Peace Eagle pooka (Buzzad/vulture) he might be prone to such drama whe given amazing news

The term 'spread-eagled' takes on a whole new meaning, Sylvi thinks to herself. What she says is, "You okay down there?"

"I'm having an astral experience- I'm a method actor you know? Studied at a Sweat Lodge for a few weeks with my teacher Running Eagle. "

"Running Eagle? Okay." She's pretty sure she's missing a pun in there somewhere. "I'm glad you appreciate the news." She's smiling happily.

The pooka gets up, "Do I? Thanks to sponsors like you, we'll have more than enough to get this place up and running again with a large room for moi with a big star on it too"

"You know, I might just insist on that star. You're the one who's kept the dream of this place alive even when it couldn't really be open. So..." a more serious tone. "The theater is purchased, and that's great...but we're still going to need funds to run it. I'll get that started: Kickstarter, local promotion, big donation thermometer poster on the front of the theater, all that stuff. And...do you have ideas about what show should go on first?"

"Kiddo, I got more ideas than the night has stars- it's a matter of wrangling them, damn this may not be the time to experimennt with Equis though"

"Uhhhh, yeah, let's not go with nudity and horse murder right off the bat. I was thinking, though...how do you feel about Music Man?"

He ponders "Plebian, long past it's prime, a 'safe' choice denoting a lack of true theatrical courage..." Then he smiles "Also a sweet little story with charm. This a request from the lady who saved us?"

"I figure, yeah, it's safe, but it's also popular, and it'll bring not just individuals out, but whole families. Also fun to promote on local radio stations -- have actors go on with the host and talk about it, then sing a little. And...no, not a request from our benefactor, but...well, I have relatives who have a fondness for it. It kind of rubbed off."

"mmm , you win, my dear"

A grin "I'm still going to charge full price to extended family though"

"Hmmmm." She gives him a measuring look, not sure where the pooka lie is in there, but she's grinning while she does it. "So...this is the part where you know what to do more than I do, I think -- we need actors, singers, dancers, musicians, stage hands, costumers...the works!"

He pulls out a roledex, old fashionned with labels like 'Assholes but talented' 'Great guys, nnot so talented

' and 'great guys, with talent'.. that selection slimmer

"Oh, cool! So...I guess we've got to get started." She smiles.

"Oh! I can ask some local businesses to be sponsors in exchange for free advertising. The bank, the supermarket, the diner, stuff like that."

He shakes her hand "You poor fool..I mean, sounds like fun for you"

"Ha!" She smiles. "It's the old selling-candy-bars-and-washing-cars thing to get money for cheerleader uniforms. Nothing I haven't done before."

"You're holding out on candybars?"

An eyeroll, then a thought. "Oh, we can have a group run the concession stand during intermission. Let them keep part of the funds for their own fundraising...and that way we don't have to hire somebody to do it."

"Sure, if we can get a kinian or kithain maybe a rising pride will shift all hips?"

She blinks at that. "I...think so, yes?"

"Great, so you're onn that too. Thanks for Volunteering"

She gives him a look. "Well...one thing at a time. So...how long do you figure we need?"

"if onnly we had a bogggan nto help spread the good word" He looks around

Then ahems "IF ONLY WE HAD A BOGGAN TO HELP SPREAD THE GOOD WORD!"

Kennny comes out and rushes out the door to begin the gossip chain

"Not long now" The pooka smiles

Sylvi laughs! "Well, yeah, but I mean...when do you think opening night should be?"

"I must trust to the fates" he gets a blindn fold, a calennder, and puts the blindn fold on annd points.

If Sylvi is observent, she will realize the blindfold is foiled by his long nose and he's actually picking out specifically

She blinks at the result. "Uhhhh...." Because Labor Day is awfully close.

Then she takes a deep breath, squares her shoulders, and nods. "Okay...that's our goal."

"Guess you better schedule those auditions! I've got to check in at DarkGate and let them know."

"Hey kid.. you'e an angel" He smiles. There's some extra meaning thee, but it's positive

She gets it. "I'll be in touch, Sully!" She waves as she heads out.

By now, the hard working bridge has made some contacts with the local kitthain and kinian, which are not many but happy to have her. Some are loners, like Squid, the sluagh who runs a fish and aquarium store (Bottom feeders a speciality), others are sets, like the Deermuffs, Newlywed boggans who run a pastry shop.

She starts to contact folks and set thinggs up
