"Oh no problem lass. I'm happy you're back though. How goes it with the Theatre?"

"Oh! Excellent news, there. The Theatre is now purchased, and we're at work on the first performance. Music Man," she adds with a grin.

"Now Marsellies will LOVE that"

"He will," she agrees. "I'm hoping everybody here will have a chance to appreciate it. It should bring a lot of kith and kin out of the woodwork, an hopefully nurture a few dreamers and potential dreamers."

"How were things here while I was away?"

"Touch and go, had to socialize more, a few folks asked about you"

Sylvi pauses. "Yes, sir. I'm sure there are messages if there's anything important. I'll go check on that right now, with your permission?"

"Oh I've collected them, here" He offers "Had them forwarded. Turns out the Deermufs wanted to know if you could promote them onn that make up channnnel of yours? THeir pastry shop could use good word of mouth"

He hands over the notes

The other two include an offer 'Happy to be your own maid, since the Baronness has one.' A bogann kinain!

"Oh...interesting, about the Deermuffs. That could be fun." She accepts the notes and looks over them. A low whistle. "I don't need a maid," she says with a blush.

"You did nae think that a boga kinain would not see an opportunity?" Amused eyes

"Well...sure..." A sigh. "I suppose I should consider it. People need work, and if I can afford it, I should hire somebody."

"Well, it's up to you" The third one is a request for help... I worry that my neighbor has been ravaged but am reluctant to make accusations on by whom

Her eyes widen. "Oh....Chieftain, this last one. A possible ravaging." She frowns as she scans the note for information.

He looks it over "Shit. This should have been mine to read, not handed to me." Even as her own eyes find nothing but a street name to indicate where

She frowns a bit more. "Chieftain...would you let me investigate?"

"If you like, but can you take some back up? If a ravager gets caught, an exra shield migght be wise"

He does NOT look pleased

Sylvi nods. "I was planning on it. May I steal Colton?"

"As a Liam this is right up his Alley, aye" A nod

"Thank you, Chieftain. With your permission?"

"Yes, aye. Tell him to put an aide on reular storm duties" A frown "We do not have enough glamour that ravagers should get away with this"

"On it. Excuse me, Chieftain." She salutes an departs in search of Colton.

Colton is writingg at his desk. Notes. When he sees her, he puts it down and grins "Heeeey!"

"Hi!" she gives him a smile, but it's a preoccupied one.

She goes to him and kisses him hello.

He kisses her, but senses something in it "It didn't go well? You seem occupied?"

"Everything at Rivervale went great, actually. Leech is gone, and his organization is so disrupted it can't recover. I mean, not everything went great, but the mission was successful. No, the thing right now is more local. I just got this...." And she shows him the note.

He looks it overr, annd his eyes darken "I.see."

"Here's the thing, though...it might be for-real...or it might be a trap. Chieftain Hewitt said it was a message that should have gone to him; what if somebody's trying to get at him?" A deep breath. "Either way, I want to get there to take a look, quickly. The Chieftain said you should come with me, have an aide cover Storm duties for the moment."

"I will" A nod "how soon do you want to start?"

"I want to go now. But...that's not enough time to get things arranged, is it? I guess the note has been here a couple of days...." She debates. "How soon can we start?"

"Morning is best" He says "Time to set up the aide, do innternet searches, see if the locals here know kithiainn that area"

"Okay," she nods. "Okay." A deep breath, and her shoulders relax. "Hi," she starts over.

With a smile.

"Hi" He smiles back, then chuckles, then adds "I missed you"

"Missed you, too." A sigh. "So...what have you been up to?"

That sigh came with a smile, not a frown.

"Well, where to start? I've got a rookie so green he's making me cry. Wannts to charge in every fight"

"But other things are good. Walk for a bit thenn..."A look at the bedrooms hopeful

She follows his glance, and nods, smiling. "A walk first. Then..."

And she takes his hand. "Who's the rookie?"

And hand in hand, they trade stories annd taies and trials. All save one which... Sylvi is not ready to confess to him... yet
