She strides into the hold, as ever, the place emanates purpose, readiness. Sylvi has not been idle. The theater is closer to opening again, covert restoration!

But Dark gate itself? All business

Bits and pieces of effort here and there. Mostly cheerleading, in her way, as far as the theater goes. But that's going to be on the back burner a few days.

She asks somebody on duty where the Chieftain can be found.

"Chief Hewitt is going over paperwork in the office"

"Thanks," she says with a smile and nod, and she makes her way there.

A quick knock on the office door when she gets there.

"Chieftain? Do you have a minute?" Her tone is serious.

"Come in, Bridge, " A sigh "the Duke sent me a letter of inquiry and it's taking for bloody ever"

"I'm sorry to hear that, Chieftain. I'd offer to help, but I can't. Chieftain, I need a few days' leave. I need to go to Rivervale."

A brow "What? So close to Midsummer?"

"Yes. You see...." And she relates what she learned from Sir Vali.

"At the very least, I need to make sure Jaymes receives some Spring magics."

He puts his paper down and reaches for another, writing something down

She adds, "We should be wary of attacks up here, as well. Since we were part of the raid."

"I was thinking the same," A nod "And I'm sorry to say I can't spare Storm Colton for that very reason" He hands her a paper "This is a bit hasty, but it's essenntially a formal letter offering our aid if needed to Chieftain Brekke. Please tell Dame Dagmar our healingg dreams flow to her father even now as well"

A grateful look as she takes the paper. "Thank you, Chieftain. And I totally understand about the Storm, considering the situation. I'll talk with him before I go, but I'll be leaving right away. I'll send word if I'll be away more than a couple of days. With your permission...?" she says, already aiming for the door.

"Not too fast there lass. I CAN offer you Dame Kelby if you wish?"

She blinks. "You're sure? If so, then YES, please, very much!"

"Pick her up on your way out, she's in her room polishing her armor" A nod "I know you're skilled but ann extra arm nnever hurts"

"Yes, Chieftain. Thank you!" She offers a salute and hurries out.

She heads next to find Colton....

She finds Colton fast enough. He's watching some sparing and giving advice, but when he sees her, he looks over and smiles "official business or?"

"Business, kind of, but not exactly DarkGate's." She quickly and quietly repeats the information she gave Hewitt, and then Hewitt's instructions to go and to bring Kelby with her. "He's going to need you here," she finishes.

"I could ask.. " Colton starts to say then she finishes explaining he won't be able to go "Damn it" A frown "Sometimes I worry I'm not much of a boyfriend."

"Colton...it's out of your hands. Don't worry..." she slips her hand into his. "I'll be okay. And I'll check in."

He might get the sense that while her hand is in his, her mind is focused on Rivervale.

A squeeze and he kisses her but briefly "You give them my regards. Tell them i wish I could be there" A nod "Okay, I should let you go. Scoot"

A grateful and apologetic look after the kiss. "I'll text you when I get there, I promise."

Then she's off.

"Thanks"

And finally she goes to find Kelby and tell her they're taking a trip.

KElby looks up from cleaning her armor, then says "We are? To the lodge? If I knew you were comin I'd have baked a cake"

A grin. "Pretty sure Mom will have plenty. How fast can you get ready to go? We're going to meet up with Nadeen to head down."

"Give me ten minutes, and Nadeen? Huh, she taken over a Barony yet?" A smile and she starts to put the armor on

"Oh, it's only a matter of time now, I think."

"Sidhe need hobbies" She smiles and gathering her things, soon they're heading with her to hook up with Nadeen
