Shortly The Mountainn returns with an amused look "You should have seen his eyes when I told him it was for a childling boggan." She presents some clothes "Here we go." It's really more of a set of sweats

Andn yes, they should fit

"Perfect." She takes the sweats. "Kenny? I'm going to open the door just a crack and put some clothes on the knob inside. I'll get your own clothes when your done and get them washed. Sound good?"

"Okay! Thanks!" The boy's voice says

And she does.

Closing the door, she comments to the Mountain, "Looks like I'm here for a while."

"I do dare say" She says "Bridge, you DO Know you can deligae authority? Babysitting is not something you have to do"

"I...um...." She glances around at whoever happens to be in view. "I mean, yeah, but..." A deep breath and an embarrassed grin. "I guess I'm just more familiar doing that with my friends than, like, formally."

Just them on this side of the door. "must be nice" the Mountain says "To have family you love"

"And friends in plennty" She adds .

She furrows her brow. "Well...yeah," she says uncomfortably; she didn't mean to be bragging. "I mean...I got lucky. But other people make family, and get close to them."

"I don't think that's for me," She says

the door opens, the thane comes out, with very wet boots. He is lifting Kenny and sets him down "There you go, dry land"

Kenny is now dressed in his sweats

"Thank you," she says to the thane. "Can you pass me his clothes? I need to see that they get clean. Hey, Kenny! Wow, that's what you looked like under all that dirt, huh?"

The boy definitely looks more bogganish, rosy cheeks, prounced brows

"I guuuuess" he says not convinced "I'm gonna catch cold now without the dirt to protect me"

And the thane hands the clothes over

Sylvi grins. "Well, we'll try to make sure that doesn't happen. Okay, so...now we better go see the Hearth to get you set up with a room for the night."

"Okay" Kenny says "Whatever room I get, I can already tell it'll be HUGE"

The boy seems far more social now.. he was so shy before

"Oh, could I ask you to mop up that room?" Sylvi says apologetically to the thane. "I just want to get him settled."

The thane says "of course, Bridge"

"Thanks." And a glance to the Mountain, with a silent, "Thank you," for the nudge.

And she and Kenny are off.

It might be noted, no one is acting asi f they even hear Kenny's stutter

In search of Marseilles.

The Hearth is trying to make a cullinary masterpiece but folks keep wanting him to do the other HEarth stuff too "YEs?"

And the boy hides behind Sylvi again

She doesn't flinch. "I need a room assignment for a guest. This is Kenny. He's low on glamour and will be staying the night. Kenny, this is Hearth Marseilles." Efficient as possible. "I also need to get his clothes cleaned, if you've got somebody doing laundry. Otherwise, I can sort it out myself."

The Hearth sighs , then turns "Uran?

A 14 yaear old troll turns from scrubbing pots

"Urand, take our guest to guest room 2. And do the laundry. Make sure they get some extra clothes to chane innto as well, Eloise will probably be able to patch something up but if she ca't let me know and I'll handle it"

"Yes, Hearth." urand seems happy to change tasks

"Thank you, Urand," Sylvi says gratefully. "Kenny, Urand's going to help you out. Hang out in your room for a bit, and I'll check in on you."

"Anything else you'd like me to do, Bridge? " urand says "if i will help him not be bored I have some hotwheels, I got some in bulk, but quite a few aren't collectable worthy, if he'd like to play with them he's welcome to them"

"Hot-t wheels?" the boy's eyes light up

And again, no one acts as if they noticed the stutter

Sylvi notes the boy light up, and smiles. "I think you just said the magic words, Urand. That would be great."

"I've got to talk to the Storm. I'll see you in a few, Kenny." She waves and heads away, confident that the boy is in good hands.

"Come on, Kennny" Urand says motioninng him to follow

And she's off to find Colton.

It would seem the pretentious Marsellies has other things beyond food that matter to him
