Sylvi regards the ample basket of Marigold's baked goods with a grin. Oh, she's clever. A thanks to me, but visible to the Chieftain, and perhaps also a challenge to Marcellus. Brash and sneaky Marigold. Mad props to you, lady.
She makes certain the basket is placed in a central location with a note explaining that Marigold of SilverWolf sent them and for all to please feel free to take part in them.

There is a small bundle towards the bottom... a few things wrapped up in a napkin with a note pinned that says "Chieftain Hewitt" on the outside. It may say more within the folded paper, but it doesn't quite match the rest of the basket.

"Oh!" Sylvi says quietly when she spots this. "Oh, I get it now," she murmurs with a smile. She carefully picks up the bundle and brings it to the Chieftain's quarters (or workroom, wherever he'd be more likely found at this moment). She knocks a few times on the door. "Chieftain Hewitt?"

"Come in, Bridge. Here in the study, looking over some notes"

"Yes, Chieftain. I don't mean to interrupt, but a basket arrived from SilverWolf, some baked goods from Steward Marigold. I've left it out for all to share, but this came along with it, and I want to make sure it gets to you." She tries not to smile as she passes him the bundle.

"Silverwolf?" She can see him perk up instantly by troll standards. "Ahem. yes well," he takes the bundle "Very good, very good. I shall handle this matter personally. Thank ye, Bridge. Unless there's anything else?" He does NOT look at the bundle, but it's like someone NOT looking at a cake they plan to get a slice of

"Oh, well...I do want to speak with you more about revitalizing that theater in town..." She looks like she might actually want to talk about it right now...but then she relents and says, "...but that can wait. Excuse me, Chieftain." She nods her respect and departs.

"Of course, ah, I should be openn to a discussion later on.. my thanks" And he closes the door. She can almost imagine him tearing into those letters like a kid with candy
