Breeze was a delight, and it seems the iron kettle has filled Kenny to the brim. The food was good. Not as good as Sylvi's Mom's of course, but you have to quest for food like that

Sylvi settled up the check and brought Kenny back to the Fortress, after checking that Sullivan is solid enough on glamour that he doesn't need to come, too.

Sulivan seems solid enough and waves it off with a thanks "Please, I only work the BIG Shows, but kind of you"

Kenny gapes as he enters the hold "It's like castle grayskull"

"Sure is. Okay, I'm going to introduce you around. And you've got to promise to follow instructions. The people here are good, but there are parts of the hold itself that are really dangerous, so if somebody says not to go somewhere, don't go there. Got it?"

"Got it." He says

"Who do we have here?" The voice is that of the Mountain, the woman who took the name Wildheart. Sylvi and she have bunked before she got her official job so they know each other a little

"Let's start with...oh! Mountain Wildheart, hi," Sylvi says with a smile. "This is Kenny. I met him in town, and he's a little drained. He could use a bit of time by the balefire, if it's okay."

"I can approve it." A glance "But he'll have to bathe"

"Bathe?" the boy says

Sylvi nods. "You're pretty grimy, Kenny," she says gently. "I can show you where to get clean."

"Ugh.. Mountains are mean" She says shooting what he means as a guilt inducing look at Briana Wildheart

Briana grins showin her fangs 'nice to meet someone who gets it"

Kenny sighs. That did NOT go as he hoped. "Take me to the water torture"

Sylvi grins. "Right this way, your dustiness." But as she leads the boy to the bathroom, she glances back at the Mountain with concern. A boggan who doesn't want to be clean?

Her own expression is Focused, a grunt (I'll look into it)

She nods, and then makes sure that Kenny has everything he needs. "I'll wait outside. And I expect you to wash your hair, too," she adds, indicating the shampoo.

"But but.. what if my hair comes off?"

She blinks. "Has that ever happened before when you've washed your hair?" Then she gives him a measuring look. "Do you know how to wash your own hair?"

"YESSS" A blush annd in he goes

embarrassed

Once water is running, the Mountain comes up "messy boggan? Mmm"

She keeps her voice low, "Yeah. I can't remember ever encountering one before. But he is just a kid, and it seems like he's been on his own a lot. He says his family is very 'Cold.' "

"Sounds like autumn people. He's nnot still with them?"

"That's what it sounds like. I'm not sure. The fae who introduced us, Sullivan, is a pooka, so.... I think I'm interpreting right that Kenny's totally away from his family."

"Sounds like you're Doing the Bridge thing right to me, not that I know for sure. The Hearth will keep him fed. I'll make sure what ever room he has has wards against corruption increased"

Sylvi blinks. "I didn't realize that was a ward you were putting on individual rooms."

"Well I'm not even sure he'll be stayinng here, but in the short term yes. There are names.. and if one nicknames a room 'sanctuary' or the like , it helps"

"Oh. Wow. That...that's a lot of power." She may not have realized that this Mountain is a Namer. But...it makes sense.

"Yeah, tempting to abuse it, which is why I can't. Protecting a kid's soul? Definiely a good cause."

Sylvi nods rapidly, still a bit nonplussed. "Sorry, I just...I didn't know you...where did you learn that?"

"From a man who owed me a lot more thann that art" She says

"Oh." She's an honorary DeBuke. She gets it, albeit a bit late.

"Yeah, let's not talk too openly about that. "

"Okay, yeah." A pause. "So, anyway...yeah. Kenny needs some support. I mean, this place isn't really set up for it, but I'm not sure who to turn to locally. Back in Rivervale, we have this amazing woman, AnneMarie, who's a social worker. She'd have him set up in a fae-friendly foster home, or better, before you could blink."

"Isn't this sort of thing more your work as Bridge?" She tilts her head "Coordinatin with kithain outside the hold but stil in the area?"

She blinks. "Um. Yeah. I guess so. I mean...well...any leads of a good person to start with out there?"

"Actually, you should ask the Storm. As a Liam he interacts with mortal charities and such now and then. Mostly inspring the disabled. I wouldn't be surprised if he's got a contact or two."

That brings a smile. "Good point. Okay, I'll do that...after Kenny's done in here. Hey Kenny?" She knocks on the door and raises her voice just a bit. "You doing okay?"

"Uhm.." A voice calls out "Kindof. I had to get a step ladder to turn onn the shower knobs"

A sigh from the Mountain "he's made a wet mess in there hasn't he?"

"Almost certainly," she mutters. Then louder, "If you want help, just call. I don't mind."

"NOPE.. I'm good..."

"oops"

Wildheart's eyes widen "I think it's time to call for back up"

She turns and calls to a soldier , a male one "Go in there and make sure we don't need to build an ark"

"Yes, Mountain" He goes in

and a momennt later, there is a sound of facuets going off, annd metal tightening

Sylvi sighs. "Oh, um, do you think there's something he can wear while I make sure his clothes get clean? Something...um, boggan kid sized?" she says hopefully.

"hold on," She moves to where the Hearth is "Hearth, we need clothes" She comes to where the man works over his latest master piece
