She gives directions.. including "Oh, that IS the brake, sort of"

"Yeah, that's...that's weird." And there's some jumpy moments, but Sylvi adjusts quickly, as she's still pretty new as a driver, and doesn't have decades of habit to unlearn.

And they drive "We're at the start of the property.. it has a few acres on it" The road gets a bit rougher but nothing the car can't handle

"Oh...oh, look," she points to a copse of trees that looks like it'll be quite pretty in springtime. "This is kind of nice."

"Yes... so dibs on the trees" A joke

"Heyyyyyy!" she laughs. "Um...how do we do this? We just...go right up and look around? Are there people still living here?"

"No one is in there. I have the keys " And... they pull up

She blinks. "Wow, you arranged a lot."

"I had help" she says "And there's so much to do" She admits "Stables are over there. Oh.. regarding the car" She reaches into a glove compartment and pulls out what looks to be spring green envelope that might hold a birthday card even if it isn't Sylvi's birthday

Sylvi blinks and takes the card kind of slowly. "What's this?" she asks while opening it.

"From your parents" SHe rolls her eyes "I find spring green garish msyelf" WHich might seem a nonsequitor

With much love, and a good deal from Nadeen, we got this for you. Do not DIE! /Enjoy your new car honey and signed by her parents. And the car title is in there! Signed sealed delivered!

Sylvi's jaw drops and she just stares at the card for a while. "It's...it's mine?"

"Holy CRAP! I've got a car!"

"I've gotta text them, hang on." And she sends a rapid text to her parents.

TXT: YOU'RE CRAZY AND I LOVE YOU AND THANK YOU AND I WON'T DIE AND YOU'RE SUPER CRAZY AND THIS IS AMAZING!!!!!

"Didn't you hear me? Spring green.. blah " Nadeen however cannot keep her smile from growing "They paid for the paint job so I'm not sure they got that good a deal" ahem "By the way... it was Linnae who suggested I offer it to you since I was selling it anyway. Then I thought.. well, maybe your folks would like the idea of.. well you see there you go"

TXT: Will call later tonight, crazy 'rents!

When they get out of the car, Nadeen may be surprised to be on the receiving end of a troll hug.

TXT: Glad you like, Rug Monster!

Kerri also chimes in -- TXT: Hope the color is right! Be careful! We love you!

Nadeen peeks over "Do I get to tell the folks at Dark gate you're 'rugmonster'?"

And gets hugged! "Oomph"

"Nope!" she answers cheerfully. "Of course, Colton's heard it already. But the others? No way in hell."

She sends her parents a bunch of heart icons back, and then says, "Okay, let's see this place, you car-selling maniac. Oh, and tell Linnae thanks for me, too."

"Ah well, better than Fishie" She concedes

"I will" A smile and up to the House they go.

Sylvi marvels a moment longer at HER car keys, then follows her in.

And into the house they go, looking about .. "It can use some touches but..."

at least it has decently high ceilings

The ceilings are a relief. Their steps echo in the rooms that lack furniture. It feels like invading.

Sylvi looks around one corner. "Ohhh...this is nice, this space with all the windows. Space for lots of seating...."

She envisions discussions with visitors from other places taking place here.

"It is... and I think it will make a fine diplomacy room for both of us and our guests " A pleased look "The view's not half bad either"

"Yeah," she nods, then moves on to look at the kitchen. "This looks okay. If the power's on, we can check if everything works...?"

"Sure" Turns out it does "There's a clurichaun realtor who helped Dark gate with this... and she's on the level I'm told"

"Yeah. Let's see the rooms upstairs."

And up they go!

"Now here's one that.. well see for your self" With large windows looking towards the trees, this bedroom isn't fancy otherwise but that just makes it a canvas to be used

"Ohhhh. Okay, that's nice...." She's not quite ready to call dibs.

All three bedrooms are quite satisfactory in size! And a full upstairs bathroom as well as a full one downstairs. Of course, Sylvi is very used to sharing a bathroom.

"It is nice , the roooms are all either master or close to master size.. oh.. and this one may look dull but.." She points to the closet "Take a look"

"Uh-oh...closet space?" She peeks in.

(or something very much like it)

"Oh yes. I actually thought the interior of the bedroom was ... well , okay, but lacking except the windows looking on the trees. But then I saw the closet and ...well... what do you think?"

Sylvi blinks...and blinks again. She takes a step in, testing to see if it's an illusion. "How is this even all IN here?!"

"I Kenned, glamour is not involved" nadeen says

"They had some SERIOUS carpenters doing all this!" Then she turns to Nadeen and firmly declares, "Dibs."
