Another glance cast back over her shoulder at him. "You noticed the horns and the blue skin, right?"

"I don't see color" Flopsy says in a stephen colbert impersonation "Fine. Let's try this tact. Assuming you are the ONLY one for the job , even a job that others realized needed filled thanks to you, is an act of hubris that is, dare I say it, almost sidhe worthy?"

He can sense her shoulders stiffen. "What were you saying about getting stuffed in the backpack?"

Mutter mumble "nothing your azureness"

She sighs. "No, okay, that's not fair of me. I guess..." A pause and a frustrated gesture. "It's just a lot."

She's silent for a bit. "Maybe...if I sign on for a year?" she suggests.

That gets a grin. "I definitely want to talk with both of them."

Then she adds, "Thanks, Flopsy. You're helping."
