"Ah, I admit, I had hoped our hold would be the place you'd turn to for most of your needs" A light cough "Armory needs, of course. Still, in the interest of continued alliance and good will, we can loan you a portable forge. I would noht wish you or yours to work with a less than quality one." Chief Hewitt says "Would it be too much to hope that I might come by sometime and see how the set up works?"

"Not at all! I do think you'll be the first one I think of - that is, that Silverwolf thinks of for armoring and weaponry. The Nocker who is staging right now seems more piecemeal, farrier work, maybe saddles, hinges, smaller tasks." A hand lightly touches her shield. "Nothing like this."

"Farriering is honorable work, and for a place of such fine horses as your lord's, I quite see it," He looks at the shield "Ah, well, I am proud of that shield. It's almost as grand as she who bares it, sadly it still cannot match your quality"

"You are too kind, for one who has never seen me in battle. Not to sound like an ill-wisher who hopes for trouble! But sometimes it does feel like a good challenge would stir the blood."

"Mmm" A nod "We should spar some. Not the same I know, but it does sir the blood. Trouble will arise here soon enough... that is the nature of htis fortress prison, if you are here when that happens, we'll count ourselves blessed for a strong arm." A curious tilt "Would ye like to have a bi of a row in the sparring yard now? I'm more of a smith than I am a warrior, but I would definitely bring out my best efforts for I'd not want to disappoint you "

A grin. "I may be more of a sentry and guard than a battle-hardened valkyrie these days, but I should be able to hold my own!"

"Were I among the fallen on the field, I'd prefer your face to others" And he guides her to the sparring area with some flirting practice

And in practice at least, if not as skilled in flirting, she works to give as good as she gets!

And he does not underestimate her, and brings his best, not just because he respects her as a warrior- but because he'd get his head caved in. Women, can't live with out em, can't let them find that gap in your defense of your solar plexus
