Sylvi bites her lip as she listens, then takes a deep breath. "I can see it. And...thank you. I really appreciate that you...well, that you appreciate me." She grins at her own awkward turn of phrase, but then goes serious again. "It's just...well, forgive me, Chieftain Hewitt, but it's just kind of weird for me. I wasn't expecting to...I wasn't looking for a permanent role here. Or, y'know, anywhere. I hadn't thought about it. I mean...I'm still in high school, whatever that means this year," she rolls her eyes and shrugs. "And talking about this, it's like...part of me is like, well, sure, I can do that...and the rest of me is like, but I'm still just a kid." Then she takes a deep breath and squares her shoulders. "Sorry...that's not what you want to hear. So...I guess...I want to know what you'd want me to do if I stayed. Pretty much what I've been doing?"
