The Nocker is being pulled into the carriage, as the coil wraps about him "This is drek, DREK. I was having the best night of my life beforre this furklunkin damned hobowagon came into it. HELP"

CC is muttering something on the carriage, "When she was good she was very good, when she was bad, she was better"

A foul fortune on the carriage hits it, to what effect, unknown

OOC What does the coil seem to be made of?

William... climbs into the carriage with/after the nocker.

And in he goes...

"Baby?" CC says with alarm, as the door starts to close behind The Fine Elder Gent

But now inside, Emerson gets a good look at those coils. Leather with steel lacing, thhough in truth it is Chimerical. It seems to be drawing a bit of juice from the Chrysalid, but not much. There's something mechanical about this, could be dougal work, ccould be nocker tech, could be someone's imitation of same. A fledge , untrained, would have almost no chance of getting out. Well, maybe a Redcap could chew there way out. But Emmerson has a certain set of skills, skills that make him a nightmare for... well, lots of people, and possibly a carriage as well. And he has his own cantrips, and right now? SO much glamour, the dream dance is filling him up

Mechanical..... is there an engine or device he can find and get access to?

Boggans are very handy, as CC will attest to, and they're no slouchs at craft despite nocker insults. While hidden pretty well, there does appear to be a latch. which he lifts and open to reveal a set of gyroscopes and gears that is whirling furiously. As the carri9age starts wheeling them both off, he has access to what seems to be a compass navigator. It's all very preset but that doesn't mean he can't mess it up

Indeed not! That little friend who helped him with the airbag? Meet gears. StabbyStabby!!

"Hey, not bad but focus on that springy thing and... "nockers always have opinionss, even when they are COSTUMERS and not vehicle specialilsts

Stabby stabby does it, springs, cogs, and sprokets launch, but the worst Emerson gets is a light bruise. The vehicle , which had been trying to drive forwaard, pushes his already damaged car, gets clear, and goes about a half mile before it grinds, and stops!

CC is yelling furously from a quarter mile away, possibly using her satyr speed to TRY to keep up

"If you die I will keep your ashes by my bed side and have a slugh necromancy your ass! I've got good years left in you and they are MINE!" She yells in alarm and concern and love and..well, okay, annoyance at him

If he can, he gets his little friend back from the gears and looks to see if the coils have released the new nocker.

They seem to have lost the foci of their support and he's free. And yes, his useful little friend is intact

"Furk I don't know what the hell's going on" The nocker admits "But thank you thank you thank you"

"We'll explain all, if you will come with us? Willingly, of course."

"Given the options right now, I'll go wherever you say when I have fitzlubin choice about it" He looks out the carraige "There's an attractive woman with hooves running like an olympic sprinter towards us. That normal?"

CC keeps racing towards them closing the distance "If you die I will never forgive myself. I'll get wrinkles from guilt! That'll be on you!"

"I think she's talking to you..hey, that's the lady who hired me, only with hooves, and horns.. what IS going on?"

"It is for her. Not so much for me, as you can probably tell." Stodgepole climbs down from the carriage "Come along now." offering to help him out/down.

He takes it, and they both get down.

CC hugs Emerson as soon as she closes enough to, and lays three kisses on him, "You hurt? Are you okay? "

"I'm fine, Miss CC, I'm fine. Thank you for asking." he casts a glance at the nocker "Satyrs can be... overly demonstrative. One makes allowances."

"I'm fine too, thanks for asking," The Nocker says, then says "Miss CC? It really is you. I.. I loved my work tonight. Happiest I've been in ages. But... I don't understand what' going on"

"The staff will be gone by now; let's go back to the Club."

"Yes, this way, on, Ronald, you know Emerson, Mr Stodgepole to most employees. Emerson dear, this is Ronald, the fellow I hired on the fly for tonight's costumes. I didn't realize he was one of us"

Emerson's car is trashed, and will need repairs before it drives again.

A snort. "I'd wager -he- didn't know he was one of us before tonight." He gives the car a baleful glare, then swings it onto the remains of the carriage.

"Hmmphm."

He whips out an embroidered handkerchief and goes to his car, buffing the ruined paint with it as a bunk... almost unnecessary given the Glamour of the Dream Dance, but it's the principle of the matter.
OOC Heatherbalm isn't the form of the Art he USUALLY uses, but he's got it.

The glamour of the Dream dance fuels him so he loses.. NOTHING... and the car pops out dents, changes and shifts.... and... gains Nocker like designs in the paint job!

Clearly influenced! But it can run now "Like your taste in paint jobs. ANd I don't know drek about what I am"

A long suffering sigh and a woeful look to Callidora. "May as well get in and trust Da'an will get us to the Club in one piece."

They get into the car, and it gets them where they need to go, aka the Club without too much fuss.

They park, and go on in, once inside, CC says "You want to give him the intro or should I?"

"This place looks different' Ronald says "Hell, the whole WORLD looks different"

"Why don't you start, I'll get us drinks and join in?"

"Fair enough" She smiles "I think tonight is a bourbon night for me. Ronald, first one is on the house " She says "So go ahead"

"Anything with kick" He says still gaping

Stodgepole bustles off.
