There's a crash as one of the three year olds has found a baby proofed table is not three year old proofed. The child is fine mind you.

"Very strongly considering it" She admits

"Dearest, let's hire three excellent nurses for them and take them out and spoil them. A parade of prams at the park. Children's museums! Toddler gyms. Zoos, aquariums!"

Her eyes light up "That is... a really good idea. After all, they're MY grandkids, they should be admired" Her rake legacy wanting to show them off like beloved gemstones "We could dress up a bit and go with them for part of it, but of course, off to the side while we check a few things of interest to us. Would you be willing?"

"To fund the outing? Certainly. Outfits and all." he agrees.

"I meant, would you come along? With us? Or me...a nd we check on the kids every 30 minutes or so while we wander?"

"And trust me, I do intend to be AWAY from the kids more than with them.." She assures

An indulgent sigh. "Very well." agreeing again.

"THanks, dear. " She smiles "I'll wear my red dress"

"In front of the children? Scandalous...." he bats Autumn back in play.

Autumn is put next to her sister, Summer "I think they'll survive"

"Make the call, please. I imagine this is the very definition of hazard pay"

He amiably goes to do so.

The agency is happy to assist, delighted to help so many young folks, and delighted to make money

Mostly the latter, but Emerson is ok with that. "As soon as possible, please. Today. Yes, yes, as you like. Charge the card you have on file."

Wow, they show up faster when they sense big spending. Odd how that works.

Soon, the three excellent nurses appear

He has, of course, in his own way done background on the agency and on the likely responders. So he's ok when he greets them and invites them in.

Indeed. He knows all three. Who he might call Charli, Donela, and Edwyna... or the CDE collection.

"Good to see you again, Mister Stodgepoole"

"Thank you so much for responding so promptly, please come in, come in.... coffee, tea....?"

"Oh we wouldn't mind" Another says.

CC comes in to greet each of them too

He bustles off and brings the prepared service out; coffee, hot water for tea and teabags (ugh), milk, cream, sugar....

The three nurses get ot know (or reaquaint themselves) with the kids while CC plots out a strategy for the day like Patton with fashion sense

Emerson absents himself to dress.

And arm and armor himself...

When he is ready and rejoins them, CC smiles "The ladies are already orgnizing things"

"They are treasures, each one."

"Yes, " CC smiles "Now, honey, they'll be at the Aquarium, I thought you might like that cafe across from it?"

She is also wearing a lovely red dress. Looks smashing on her.
