The three year olds swarm the house

CC is babysitting

"Faustina and Aquilla, settle down please" She moves to gather them "Let's get you with Summer, Autumn, and Winter, Winter get that out of your mouth. " She says then goes over "Bless you, Theodora. Oh, hi Cooper"

"Okay okay... " SHe sets them all down in a the main room where Bluey is playing.

"May have bit off more than I can chew" SHe mutters to herself

William tilts the edge of his newspaper down to look over it at her. "Mm?"

"Well, it occurs to me that SEVEN three year olds a bit more lively than I expected. I remember when you could just put them down and they stayed"

"Well, it's been a while."

"Oh this is mortifying" SHe admits "I raised a boy. I'm a mother. I should have this... Aquilla, where did you find grandma's wine bottle? Stop rolling it around dear"

"-One- boy, Dearest. These are seven."

"I can do this" She insists

"Never a doubt in my mind!" he assures her.

"That said, I wouldn't say no to assistance or ideas" She Admits

"MMm..." one slippered foot gently guides little Faustina back to the group from his footrest "A pen, perhaps? With a gate?"

"I tried that, they unionized and leaned on the gate at the same time, four of them at least, and it fell over" An engineer she is not

"Hm. Why -did- you take all seven at the same time?"

"Well, " She admits "It's a long story." It is not, he suspects, that long. But she did bite off more than she can chew

"How long will they be with us?"

"Just twenty four hours" She says "Twenty four..." She puts the wine bottle up in a safe place "Wonderful hours"

Then she gives a bit of a yip, as Cooper pulls grandma's leg hair

"They will -sleep- for some of that, won't they?"

"Yes, of course, now ask me if they'll sleep at the same time?"

"Will any multiple of them sleep at the same time?" he hedges.

"Given getting 3 year olds wine is frowned on... the odds aren't perfect"

"This brings me back to -why-, Dearest."

"OKay, well, June Maude asked if I could watch her set. Just for a bit. I agreed. THen April called in and asked if I could watch for her and Caesar, and.. well, of course I could. I don't think either knew the other sister had asked. And of course, May Maude is out most of the time and I couldn't leave her kids alone at the farm so... ah... " Sheepishly "I may not have thought this through"

"Is it possible the sisters set you up?" he asks mildly as he rolls up his paper to prod Cooper back to the herd.

"April LIKES me" She reminds

"And?" an eyebrow.

"Then why would she 'set me up?'"

"For fun? Given the recent season?"

"Well, she's kinian but yes, samhain might be a factor... mmph" She now gets suspicious

He chuckles. "You are delicious in this season." Another slippered foot-catch and gentle redirection to the herd for Winter.

"I want to spoil them rotten even when Unseelie" She admits

"Like.... leaving them somewhere warm and damp?"

A LOOK

He smirkes; it was a -joke-!

"Hurumph" She gives him a peck on the lips "Yes yes, you can gloat a bit. "

"Well, if a cage, ah, -pen- is out and television hasn't captured them...." he thinks "We could hire someone."

"My pride will get dinged, but I'm considering it"
