CC does. He looks about, checking a roll out desk. Aha.... well, it's printer paper.. but over here in a drawer is also a ball point pen

That will work... he uses an anonymous block print, easy to read and hard to track, and starts writing from memory.

"Dearest..." he murmurs " '... farcical pretender to the natural power of the Dreaming inherent in -all- kiths..." or "... grotesque usurper of the Dreaming's glory that belongs to all Fae...' ?"

"Oh, I like the the second, it's the way you say 'grotesque' I think. It almost roils off your lips. Of course she'll be saying it not you but still, if she's a talented actress she'll sell it"

He nods and continues writing, asking for a few more critiques as he goes but... within 15 minutes, he's ready.

She giggles...

"Thank you." and they slip back out to the main entertainments "Perhaps we should pay our respects to Her Majesty?"

"Let's... pretty sure she has a handful of responses she gives.. they were sounding similar"

They make their way over and offer obeisance.

The young woman is beautiful, clearly that was one of her qualifcations for 'the part'

She sees them, and nods her head, the crown she's given fits well "Ah, more subjects. Welcome to the Carnivale, drink and partake "

"Thank you, most gracious one." the little portly fellow says "I was told to bring you these revisions." he approaches and delivers the new pages.

She takes them... discretely, then whispers "thanks... I love the costume designs but I've had no time to memorize lines. Cold Reads are a pain" then clearly "Of course"

"You're doing very well." he murmurs back "There have been some re-writes based on early rushes. Improv this; you get the plot twist every actor dreams of revealing. Enjoy." and backs away.

SHe smiles

THe jester frowns.. seeing something going on "Here now... don't be a ROYAL pain" He jokes

polite mandatory laughter from some, open groans from others

Poncy the boggan backs away, bowing, and withdraws.

And the actress takes a look at the new script, and the Queen begins to read "Let it hereby be known, now and henceforth, that the former baron is a ... grotesque usurper of the Dreaming's glory that belongs to all Fae.... and no more is to be heard of the Fool unless I allow it."

The Baron turned fool's eyes widen. He starts to protest but the crowd HISSES at him as his mouth opens, and boos him and... he clamps down, looking furious

William watches with concealed glee from the shadows. "Adapted this from one of my usual 'rouse the troops' speeches." he admits in a murmur.

"I love those" CC says

The Queen goes on "Let it be painted upon the walls that the foolish insitution of monarchy, excepting my OWN rule, of course, is a stupidity personified. Workers of the world you have been told if you unite you have nothing to lose but your chains! Well, that is but the start. Each of you may take anything from this hold and distribute it among your fellow commoners... silverware, vases, art work and other treasures! You shall not have to return it"

He smirks.

The sidhe looks ready to explode...

as party goers, delighted, grab paintings, vases, yes, silverware... and at least one troll picks up a statue!

"You like the tapestry with the dragon on it?" CC asks

"I do, but it never pays to eat where you defecate, Dearest."

SHe mutters "Welll, I'm KEEPING the wine"

"Agreed."

It would appear others are looting with delight.. and the Queen goes on "And no more of this pretentious harp music, not that the musicians are bad.. but seriously, this is supposed to be a party, go with something folks can dance to"

"Hell, at this rate I' dvote for her" CC smirks "or was that in your speech too?"

"No, I -did- tell her to improve."

"Heh, woman after my own heart." She nods

"Shall we move on?"

"I think things will be interesting yes... this party is going the right way.. and i know your tolerance for courts often fades. Yes, let's go where YOU want, love"

He offers his arm and they head to the door. "I'm having a marvelous time, Dearest, but I dislike being noticed on occasions such as this."

"Well then..." They slip away from the crowds
